Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I've joined electronics and communication engineering. I was not passionate about electronics but it was my family friend's suggestion so I choose that course, but I was happy with the faculty that taught me the subjects. There were clear and good. Term exams were held for every quarter semester. There were two-term exams and one-semester exam. The difficulty level of the exams is some what easy if you are well prepared then no need to worry about the exam, but if not you should worry about the correction.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college students were placed in MNC companies with good packages because they asked us to pay for the job. Some students pay and got the job some of them cleared the tests. Our college's highest package is 6lakhs per annum. Only one student got that from Cisco. Due to the pandemic companies eagerly wanted the students. Our college placement percentage is around 85%. This is due to the pandemic. I got the job off campus. I've no big plans but I want to get settled and be in a good position either software or hardware.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee for the academic year is 66000 for my branch. When it comes to the other it will be low or high it depends on the course you take. If you got a seat in that college, the government will pay 35000 in the name of reimbursement. But the college wants money so they charged for Educational tours, books, xeroxes, etc., Now coming to the scholarship. It is available for only particular caste students. They only allow to write for scholarships and if they get the scholarship they'll not have to pay a much amount as a fee. Coming to the hostel facility, it is very poor and fees were too high for that. There are two types of fee structures for hostels. One is non-vegetarian students and the other is vegetarian students. There is somewhat difference between these two types of students.

Campus Life

3

When I'm in college, there are so less fest held in our college, for example, for every fresher student it is a common welcome celebration that is fresher day. This conducts to interact with fellow seniors. And after that, our college held one fest called Sankranthi Sambaralu which was held once for every 4 years. And after that engineering day. That was held by our branch students. And the library was good and we'll find any kind of book according to our branch there. Not only academic books but also some educational books and daily magazines are also available there. We have one period for the library in a week. Extracurricular activities mean our college is not that much into that. But it conducts tournaments when it is an occasion. Also, we have a social organization named Acharana. Which helps people when it is an emergency of blood or money. And it also helps school students who don't know about it after the 10th. They help the students to set a goal for themselves.

Admission

I've wrote one entrance exam called eamcet. After getting a rank in eamcet, I've applied for some colleges with that rank. I've selected for my college and after selecting, I went to the college for joining, there was a big process. A lot of certificates to be submitted, 2 or 3 forms to be filled. And advance fee payment also be paid. I've checked the colleges according to more importance. Reservation for some particular casts have fee reiumbersment, means government will pay 35000 for the candidate who qualified in eamcet. Application form and dates are available on the college official website. Or else you can directly call to the managing head of the college. There are lot of things to be improved, like decreasing the time for certificates collection and form filling section.

Other Applied Colleges

Gudlavalleru Engineering College - [GEC] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
