Remarks

It is one of the A grade college in Mumbai.It is one of the well known and famous colleges. Yes, the campus area is small not too big as per my view of thinking. But it is clean not too dirty.

Entrance Preview

For securing admission in this college you should appear for entrance exam conducted by goverment which is CET. For taking admission in any branch you should score minimum 80 marks in CET if you are from minority quota.Admission process is based on CAP round .No interviews are taken.Because I am minority candidate hence I select this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I choose is IT and teaching staff is so good .IT student and EXTC student combine and form one electronic programe hand for handicap propels and get 1000000 funding from government for further research.

There is minimum placement which is alloted to student is 3 lakh. And highest package is 4 to 5 lakhMany companies like TCS INFOSSIES L&T etc are coming here.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
