Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I planned to choose software engineering as my career, the faculty is awesome and very humble, the student ratio was 80:20, the qualifications of the facility were well and good, and the term exam was like b/w 2 months.

Internships Opportunities

1

Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, cognizant, etc come here the main role Allotted to the student was managing the Michenary and managing the stocks, the project we do was related to the stocks and companies.

Placement Experience

1

From the 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements, there are a lot of students who get placed in Infosys, Microsoft, Toyota, intel, etc, and some small companies. But the no of students who did not get placed was also more, the average package was around 7 lakh, and the highest package according to me was around 22 lakh I may be wrong. The percentage the student get was around 75 % now I am in my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for me for a year were 130000 and the was no fee hike, I don't know clearly about scholarships and placement the financial assistance was well managed, and I didn't get any job through college placement.

Campus Life

1.5

Aerophilia was one of the prominent fests which were conducted every year. There are many more fest like tech fest and cultural fest on the campus. This campus has a huge library so there is no issue with books. Amenities in classrooms were good. Each classroom gets a projector. This campus has sports programs but not so prominent. Photography club. Ngo programs are led by students.

Admission

The addition process was super easy. They considered my kcet marks as well as my board percentage. The application fee was 1500. I don't know much about reservation benefits, the online admission process was so confusing.

Other Applied Colleges

Yenapoya engineering college | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Mess facility was very bad or average, the cultural events in the campus was not that great

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
