Remarks

Good were studies, which were not that great but up to the mark and infrastructure was very bad, only very basic facilities, mainly to earn and make money rather then actually imparting all around development,

Entrance Preview

BPT/BOT bachelor of physiotherapy/Occupational therapy. i wanted to choose medical and look for MBBS but could not get it so chose Physio/Occupational therapy

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was good curriculum as it was world federation of occupational therapy recognized. but there is long way way and struggle for occupational therapy right from its curriculum that an make it more practically and professionally useful. There are many specially kids with autism and other special kids who need Occupational therapy.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides internship as its mandatory for medical students to go through an internship. i was placed in GB pant hospital New Delhi

Placement Experience

5

There are very few or nil job opportunities. Occupational therapists are all settled abroad, only a few working in India There are hardly any jobs in private sector and govt sector have very few. Indian government needs to do something for Occupational therapy as its needed to shape future of our kids

College Events

2.5

there were many events right from freshers party to farewell. there used to be university fest every year and annual fest of college as well. it was fun being part of annual fest with different kinds of competitions in place for students to show their talent

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was average to mildly expensive for a middle class to bear 50000 of tuition fee and other charges that used to be more then 1.5 lacs an year. A professional college fee is like that and ours was no different. It was feasible over all but may not be for all

Campus Life

1

Campus life was monotonous with little extra curricular, almost no sports facility there. but yes we had good opportunities to participate in annual sports day, only once a year and also annual fest which used to hold university level programs and competition of debate Mr Anugoonj , fashion shows etc

Alumni/Alumna

Facebook page keeps every one connected to college apart from that i mentioned as most of the students are settled abroad so very few remain connected

Exam Structure

Exam structure were up to the mark with required level of strictness and discipline as it should be in a medical course. Again there has to be more practical involvement then just theoretical learning. it was semester wise, exam every 6 months and main exams every year and later was totaled in four year course

Admission

i got admission through entrance exam and was left behind by 10 ranks but later when i approached college with my score they gave me admission to Occupational therapy. It was not easy to even get that but i was lucky or destined to be an occupational therapist
