Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course because I want to pursue my career in astrophysics and the entry point to that dream is to first have a bachelor's degree in physics. The course syllabus is vast and detailed as VDC is affiliated with sambalpur university the curriculum is the same. the vast syllabus gives complete knowledge about different aspects of this branch and also satisfies the minimum required topics/chapters necessary for admission to other universities for post-graduate degrees. The teaching methods of teachers are very good and effective, and qualifications from Ph.D. to MSc . we face internal exams in each semester and the main semester exam including practical and viva exams each semester. my department has 6 teachers and 15 students in my batch.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I had not any internship opportunities but different skill enhancement chances are given along with self-financed study tours to different places each year and science day is celebrated where different new creative projects are displayed by all the departments.

Placement Experience

3.5

students become eligible for placements from the 5-6th semester. average packages availed by students range from 225000 to 300000 per year. around 10% of students get placed. I personally plan to pursue a postgraduate degree and then a doctoral degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

we spend around 115000 in total each year, also which changes a little bit from course to course and year to year. these fees include tuition fees, mess fees,ac fees, boarding fess, and incidental fees. different scholarships can be availed and get a reduced fee.

Campus Life

4.5

life at the campus is very much academic, though every year we have foodfests and ELECTRA events. there are different clubs on the campus and the library stays open until 8:30 at night. Sports and cultural events keep happening from time to time. different books and journals are available in the library. classes are equipped with projectors and green boards. and students (hostellers) have 2hrs evening extra classes every day.

Hostel Facilities

4

5 students live per room and shoe racks and bookshelves are provided in the room. AC facility can be availed for 10000 extra each year. meal quality is not so good and sometimes dead insects emerge out of food curries. registration is easy but mess food is not good.

Admission

the minimum eligibility to avail of my bSc degree in Physics was to get more than 55% aggregate in my 12th examination. All application forms and fees and dates were only to be known through the SAMS portal - Odisha's ( student academic management system ). No reservation facilities were availed. The admission process was smooth and there is no need for any improvement required as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because i love Zoology. The curriculum is strict and it also focus in the discipline of the students. The only problem is the class our overlaps with sports hour so if you want to practice your game you've to miss the last 2 classes. They all teach so professionally . Examination here are conducted so neatly and the time period is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.
