Remarks

The college needs to be more organised and toughen up the selection criteria. It should also reduce the intake and concentrate on quality rather than quantity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The infrastructure at IBS Hyderabad is very good. There is alot of competition once to get into IBS as the batch strength is around 1300. A few faculties are excellent, the remaining ones are mediocre.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, IBS does provide assistance in internships. The average stipend is around Rs. 8k per month. The internships are graded and counted in the CGPA.

Placement Experience

IBS Hyderabad has maintained a 100% placement record as of now. The average package for a marketing student is 6lakh, while that for a finance student is 9lakh.

College Events

TRISHNA is the annual college festival. Along with Trishna, there are 30 clubs in IBS Hyderabad who have their individual flagshil events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for MBA is 12. 5lakhs, the hostel and mess fees is 70k per semester. All in all an MBA degree here would cost you 15lakhs here. The hostel and the mess food quality are above average.

Campus Life

The college is situated 35km from Hyderabad city. The only thing that helps you fight boredom are the clubs and club activities. The sports infrastructure is excellent, including the basketball court, the football field, and the swimming pool.

Placement Experience:

The placements are decent, the average lies somewhere between 12-13 LPA. the highest salary till now was 28LPA, and few companies like Big 4, come for mass recruitment. I have plans to work after my MBA, so I'm looking forward to the placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I said earlier the course is for 2 years with 4 semesters each 6 months. In my college, they used to conduct 3 midterm exams every semester which are not hard if u attend college regularly and study well. I took this course because I like accounting and business very much. The faculty members have good skills and experience they take time and explain everything not complete fast like others. The faculty-student ratio is 2:21. The lecturers use content based teaching methods for easy understanding.

Placements of IMT Hyderabad is decent the average package in IMT Hyderabad for last year was between 8-10 lakhs per annum and since the batch strength is low which makes it slightly easier to tackle with your interviews also I am really glad that I chose this college as there are market leaders coming in for placements like Unilever, ITC, Barnett & Coleman, JP Morgan, Amul, Aditya Birla group etc.

At the end of 4 semester placements are going to starts and also the when 4rth sem started they offer us to join the company if they get an opportunity Last, according to our seniors Kotak, icici, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Genpact, amazon these are the companies that are offered a job. The highest ratio of the students is 60% and the lowest rate is 25%. 75% is an average percentage that students got the placements with their personal knowledge. My plan after my MBA is to a financial analyst that makes me stronger.

In our college environment is very good. The whole campus is surrounded by nature and peacocks. That was one of the best parts of our college. Placements were also improving a bit. For marketing placements were very good. For Digital marketing, our college has the best faculty to date. After these student personality growth activities are also conducted. Students will have freedom.

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. In order to get admitted to IBS you can appear for IBSAT or get admitted through CAT, NMAT or any other MBA exams.
