Likes

The Campus life (It's full of greenery).
I also liked the infrastructure very much, it still has that ethnic vibes.
Fests are organized on a different level here.

Dislikes

I didn't like the Mess food,the quality decreases day by day.
The class timings are very much hectic,it starts from 8 in the morning and goes till 6:30 in the evening.
The lecture hall should be air conditioned, otherwise it's very hectic for students to do class especially in summer.

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently, I'm In My first year, So the curriculum is kinda hectic because we are the first normal batch after The Pandemic, but after this, the curriculum will be okay. The faculty members are very helpful. In my branch, I have a faculty: student ratio of 1:22.

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Currently, I didn't interact with my seniors that much, so I don't know about the internship thing, but I got to know from the Training and Placement Cell that this year 308 Pre-placement offers were made.

Placement Experience

I think a student starts getting offers after the 6th semester. I think around 300 or more companies visited this year and the highest package was around 1.6 crore and the lowest was around 12 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the academic session is 106000 per semester and with that, the hostel and mess fees are 15000 per semester. There are many scholarships which is provided, and you can financial assistance from the bank too.

Campus Life

This year The Annual Fest "Kashiyatra" took place in January And the tech-fest "Technex" took place in March. I personally enjoyed it a lot. Besides, There are innumerable clubs present such as music, dance, drama, etc. So, campus life is much good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room provides a bedtable and an almirah. The messy food is okay, actually, the quality decreases day by day. The registration process for a hostel is very easy, just need to pay the fees and it's done.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

One needs to clear JEE Advanced to get into IITs. Application information is shared online or one can get into specific websites to get information about it. The Admission process was very smooth.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average But all the students here focus on off campus placements because the in campus placements are very average. Like you'll get a placement of ?6 lakhs or seven lakhs, depending on your CV.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So entry in IIT BHU was through JEE ADVANCE. I gave the examination and got an All India Rank(AIR) of 7533. Then I had Josaa counselling where I had to select colleges according to my priorities. So one of the many colleges I filled was IIT BHU(4 Year B.TECH Chemical Branch). The distribution of colleges is purely based on your ranks. Higher rankers will be prefferd above you.
