Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to go in a psychology career so I chose this College for my education. The faculties are very great psychology faculties are very good they know how to treat students. The exam gets conducted timely.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College tells us to find an internship and they will give a recommendation letter to that company for your internship. And during summer vacation, I got an internship in Bangalore with a stipend and certificate completion.

Placement Experience

From the 5th sem, students are ready for placements. The highest Package was 5 lakh and the average was 3 lakh. 70% of students get placed. I'm planning to do a BA in psychology and go for higher studies in Foreign.

Fees and Financial Aid

65K is for BA psychology per year and 20k for the registration fee ( first year only). ST, SC, and OCB can get financial assistance from the college but they have to show an income certificate and it should be BPL.

Campus Life

There are a lot of Campus Events happening in the college mostly small events happening in the college regularly. The library of our college is good we have 3 libraries PG blocks, Main Block and Admin Block. We have so many groups in our college.

Admission

Your Class 12 percentage should be 45% or above to register in the KJC Application form. You can apply to their college website. Reservation benefits are available but you have to apply otherwise you won't get any benefit. The admission process is good.

Heartfelt words to my beloved college!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was clear about choosing this stream as after 12th mind was fixed for preparing UPSC-CSE. So curriculum i had was exactly same which u needed!. Geography is very interesting subject and it further broadened my knowledge after i choosed the subject. We needed to write exam twice a year as many of us know it was a semester based. Question papers were of moderate difficulty and competent enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements are given in our college for a lot of departments. A senior of ours got placed into Reuters with a very high placement. In the last year, that is the 4th year, you get eligible for campus placement. After I get my degree in History, I will pursue my master's in history from Christ University only or from a foreign college belonging to the Ivy league. After that, I will pursue my PhD in history and also give the Civil Services Examination.

Placement Experience:

For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.

I didn't actually choose this college. My plan was to go to a government college. But I just applied here and wished to get selected and I did. The admission process is fully online, from interview to paying fees. The eligibility is getting a percentage above 60 and no exams are required. You just need to attend the interview on the date asked by the college and they will ask you few questions, and after few days you will get selected based on the interview.
