What a Journey!

The Course consists of Various Software and Programming languages along with them we also learned about Management Subjects such as HR, E-commerce along with these various grooming and aptitude classes were held for help in placements and training was also held for Web & Php Development which provided us with Certificates but I highly urge you to learn industry-relevant skills and do internships outside course to get a good job in IT, The student-faculty ratio is ok the course is divided between two sections of 40people and each semester there are 3-4subjects and each subject has its own teacher teaching both sections, The Teaching Faculty are well qualified and some of them are even pursuing PhD, Many of them always help and guide us and even provide us suggestions for CA and Semester exams, there are 4CA exams (written/mcq) and 2PCA exams (practical/lab) before a semester, each year there is 2sem exam and passing in them can be tuff so you have to study hard.

Students become eligible for placement in the Final year, Companies like Accenture, Delloite, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant visited and offered Technical roles in junior positions in the IT industry but many consisted of bonds and Companies like Amazon, Sutherland, Sun knowledge, Tech Mahindra offered for Non-Tech roles mainly Customer Service,The highest package as far I know is 23k per month offered by accenture and the avg package is around 15-18k per month offered by various companies, As of now around half of the batch is placed and half is still left, Many got selected in 2-3companies many got selected nowhere so it all depends on your skill but still our teachers are trying there best to find our opportunities, I got two offers from Amazon and Sutherland but I am joining none of them as I have plans of doing an MBA after this degree to get better opportunities in the Corporate World

Fees are around Rs 40000 per semester and Rs 10000 was taken during admission as a security deposit of which we shall get back Rs 5000 after the completion of the course the cost of the study is around 2.4lacks total, I did not avail any scholarship but I guess you can avail it if you have the poor financial condition, I got two on-campus jobs from Amazon and Sutherland in Non-Technical Customer Service Role with both giving around 15-18k per month salary, but I did not join them as I have plans for pursuing higher education

Events like Daitm fest, freshers party, teachers day, and sports day are held throughout each year, but this year I guess to cut costs they organized Fest and freshers party together which many students were against, The library has access to many books regarding our course but the new principal recently has restricted access to library and canteen area during class hours for which many of my friends have faced problems, Classroom amenities are simple each class has a normal bench, desk, whiteboard and projector and labs are air-conditioned and has working computers, Sports or extracurricular activities is not possible in our college as it is very strict and there is no open big area for sports and stuff still some students have put up a badminton net behind our college alleyway and play there, there is no official club here but you can form groups of similar interest between your friends like many students who have interest in music here jam together. So campus life here is quite average

The Eligibility of this course is either to have maths or statistics as a subject in class 12th(any stream can apply) & you have to give the CET exam under MAKAUT University and you will be selected on the basis of your Rank, The CET form can be found in MAKAUT website, I did not avail any reservation as I got a good rank in CET but Reserved category people can avail it as per govt rules and get admitted on its basis, The Admission process was hassle free after the submission of CET marksheet so no improvement needed on the College's Side but MAKAUT needs to improve its website as the design is outdated and can be a problem to navigate through.
