Likes

Good and learned faculties having great teaching experience.
Good college environment and campus life.

Dislikes

The college does not even care about placing their students in good companies
No infrastructure and facilities. Not even Air Conditioners.
The only achievement college cares about is GNDU Tech Fest Recognition which does nothing to the college's overall image.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are good. Qualification and the quality of all the faculties were on par. I dropped from a certain college and as a backup, I picked up this course. The faculties are available when we need them. The only thing they wanted was to fill 6-8 pages per answer in the final exams.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study was low. There were no scholarships given to the students. There must be but I am not aware of any such scholarships. Every year, they hike the fees by 10 percent, and if your attendance is low, which they prove every time that it was low, the college fines every student for short attendance.

Campus Life

Campus life was beautiful. The fests used to happen every 10-15 days. Not in the college itself but the students are sent to different different colleges of Punjab to participate in them. The annual fest of the institute is the Tech-fest where the students from various districts participate. The library was on par with other colleges in the district. No ACs in the classrooms. The scope of sports and extracurricular is excellent.

Admission

The only eligibility for the course was 60% above graduation. The application form that I picked was a physical one by visiting the college itself. There was no kind of reservation that I am aware of as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives

Placement Experience:

i can talk about college placement till now in my college, as far as i have seen, placement start after the 2nd year of BCA and 3rd year of B.tech, but first there is atest and interview. if the one who gets good marks in the paper will be selected for the next interview, otherwise he will not be selected. in my college, B.tech students get more placement because the get intership in ther last semester, though which they get placements too. till now, B.tech students have been able to placement and otherwise Bca students have did not place by college placement you will own search by non-campus placement

Life inside Synetic College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a lot of interest in programming languages and in computer and how computer works. In future ,technology and application will be widely used . This course is appropriate for choosing according to my interest. This curriculum prepares me alot for this real world applications because future generation is totally dependent on AI tools or technology . I suggest in improvement of modernising technology, you have to focus on practicals for this curriculum. The exams are correct like starting at 9 :30 and ends at 12 :30 . Each student have different timing for their exams according to their course.

My experience at Bikram college of commerce

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is not relevant anymore. BCA is like new BA, but a sophisticated one. Everybody's doing BCA nowadays. I can't figure out the reason. But skill based learning is lacking and sadly this course is providing nothing but degree holding unskilled graduates (most of them). Though some who really explore the skills and work on themselves are achieving good jobs.

Appejay College Review , must read before admission

There is no eligibility for this course except one should be 12 passout . No entrance exam is conducted for this cource . Application forms costs around 1100 and there are also reservation benifits . And i guess i am rating college above what it deserves...Read More

Honest Review Of Apeejay College

I applied for other GNDU affliated colleges also but i preferred APJ over others due to itels high reputation and maintainance. It has better placement opportunities than other colleges in my city. You can also avail through sports quota in this college but i did'nt availed that. I opted for B.COM (Hons) course. You should be 12 th paas with 60% marks to take admission in this course. Admission is followed by a small interview. You are asked various questions about your course.
