I was interested in literature so I opted for this course. I opted for this college as the college is known for its English department. Some alumni were rank holders. The faculty is amazing. Teachers are very cooperative, provide notes, and weekly tests, the portions are always completed. Internals are conducted, and portions are revised.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who have concession doesn't have to pay the fees. Others have to pay fees of around 3000. Egrantz Scholarships for those students who have a monthly income below 100000. Teachers will update you about the scholarships.

Campus Life

College day, arts fest, and sports fest are usually conducted. Students who are interested in sports can opt for this college as it has a good physical education department. It also offers NCC and NSS. Books are available in the library.

Admission

Admissions are conducted through the Kerala University allotment process. A student should score 80 percent and above to be admitted to the college. Reservations are available to OBC, SC, and ST students, and community reservations are available.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

Remarks:
