Course Curriculum Overview
I took the Information Technology branch so there are many pros and cons. The teachers are very supportive if you want to study on your own. So this college and IT branch particularly is best for those who can find resources and learn by themselves also your seniors are always there to help you so that's not a major issue. All the faculties of the IT department are guest faculties so there is not much to think about. there are a lot of good and supportive teachers it's just you have to be self-motivated and keep learning continuously. We have 2-3 mid-term tests and an end sem examination every 6 months you can pass them easily if you even dedicate 5-6 days to them so focus on your hustle and study for exams in your free time.
Placement Experience
Students start getting placed in the 7th semester which is in their last year. This year there were around 69 offers on campus and still counting and major students also sat for many off-campus opportunities. The highest package was 7.25 LPA in 2023 and the average ranges around 3-4 LPA and for IT it is around 5 L. The majority city of placements are the rom IT branch and almost 50% get placed and 20-30% prepare for further studies or government exams so they don't even sit in placements. I would be joining any company.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can get a lot of scholarships. If you are from general you can apply for TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) before taking admission. Also, the Pragati scholarship for girls is there. And for SC/ST and OBC, you have a 100% scholarship of tuition fees. The campus placements are increasing year by year and at the end of the day all depends on students. The cost of the study is low compared to private colleges. Fees are almost the same every year so not a major issue.
Campus Life
We have many events organized by the clubs like The Next Level throughout the year. We have our annual Tech Fest (Techotsav) and cultural night(Udghosh) in the month of March-April. The library is really good and you can find almost all the books also you can ask them if the book is not available they'll buy it and then issue it to you. Classrooms are equipped with smartboards. Sports and extracurricular activities happen throughout the year and infrastructure is also good. Search for THE NEXT LEVEL club.
Admission
I took admission based on JEE MAINS examination. You should have completed 12th with Maths as the subject. You can apply via MP DTE counselling after which you can be allotted this college. The average cut-off for general is around 50-60% so if you are an average student also you'll get admissions easily. The MPDTE counseling opens after around a month of the result announcement of JEE MAINS so keep an eye on the date.
