Remarks
College is really good all the faculties infrastructure and the resources they have. Only thing if It was placed in some industrial are it would have been great
Entrance Preview
I had WRITTEN MAT, I scored 89 percentile. I opted this college because of the quality of the education they give and also the lectures they have.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is amazingly good because we had all the specialization as per the need. We Also midterm research projects, where we have to select a company/organization then do the research as per the necessity. Lectures used to guide us. In college we had mentor group where each group(6 members) had only mentor that's lectures who would guide us in the both curriculum and extra curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Yes college do have tie up with major companies like airtel Coca-Cola ICICI. Students can select the college as per the their interest. Normally we get around on an average 10000. I had done internship in airtel and it was great experience because it was internship just on paper I was treated like actual employee, which gave me great exposure
Placement Experience
Place is good there were 120 students got placed out of 180 last year there were 16 companies which had come for on campus recruitment and 7 companies for off campus. Some of the students were good to get the jobs in the same where they had did their internship. There were oracle ICICI, gsk airtel, Coca-Cola, Thomson Reuters etc, average package was around 4 to 5 lacs per annum
College Events
There were countless celebrations throughout the year in the college. Like onam deepavali, Christmas, dasara etc. We had committees in our collection like finance, marketing, banking, photography, art committee etc where those committees conduct events on behalf of festivals mentioned earlier. We also conduct annual college fest where we invite other colleges to join and compete in the fest where we conduct simulation games etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
There was two different fee structure. One was government seats, where you should write entrance exam score marks which is enough to get selected through counseling, government seats will cost you from 2 lacs to 3 lac for 2 years Other one is management seat this will be bit expensive than the government seats, again it depends on the marks you scored in you graduation. Management seat will cost you around 4 to 6 lacs for 2 years
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarships will be provided for eligible students. Eligibility will be considered by, how good a student is academics and other activities and also by the income level As per my knowledge our college doesn't provide loan facility
Campus Life
Campus life was really good with greenery around. There's gender discrimination all were treated equally. As I mentioned earlier we had committees like photography music finance marketing where the committees conduct lot of activities such as music competition quiz debates etc
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and mess is fantastic when compared to other colleges good accommodation and good food. Accommodation: we get a room for two with attached bathroom and with two separate wardrobe Food: we get the freedom to select the food menu from veg to non veg and also deserts/fruits Homely feeling
Alumni/Alumna
Yes we have active alumni association in the college where we conduct alumni meet every year in bangalore we get together and help each other for getting new jobs or for business opportunities
Exam Structure
We did not had old school styled exam. We had exams like open book exam. Aptitude tests, we were also given project works or may be case studies to solve. We had exams in different forms of exam frequently but it was never a hectic it was fun because as I said we did not have old school style exam
Admission
First they checked my score in graduation course I had a decent score which was enough me to qualify. Then later they called me for the interview. My Interview was with senior lecture which is first round and then with the director. It was tough interview and I did crack it
Faculty
Most of the faculties have worked in corporate field so they had the practical experience. In that way used to get the practical knowledge rather than only text book knowledge. More than that most of the lectures were PhD holders so we had the best experience working and doing small research works along with them.
