Remarks

Overall its a very good college for those who have to take the life seriously. But as a student you always have option to add or involve activities in any college.

Entrance Preview

First step is entrance test and interview it was and is the best college in Karnataka for post graduation. It has best in faculty and infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is very helpful and in detail. You have to keep yourself dedicated to studying. Else the exams and the studying can be hard. The teachers are always willing to help. When you start working, JKSHIM does have its ranking among companies so maintaining the ranking is important and difficult.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of this college is very good. All classrooms are smart classrooms and the college premises have good plants and different flowers . It looks like a very peaceful area. The campus has a Wi-Fi connection but W-Fi is a bit slow and to get it connected, it takes a long process. Library, sports and extra curricular activities are great. There is also bank with a 24 hour ATM facility.

Faculty members are very helpful. Only one or two members focus on writing notes but rest all concentrate on the conceptual learning by taking real life examples. All the faculty members are highly qualified from either top institutes or have a lot of practical work experience in the present industry.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

I had applied to Acharya Institute of Management, AIMS and BMS and the cutoff here was within 2000 ranking. since my ranking was beyond 2000 I was not selected here.
