Course Curriculum Overview

Information technology was demanding so i chose IT branch. Computer labs are great and also HOD and teaching staff is too good, very helpful. As IT have intake of only 30, teacher knows everyone personally which is a key benefit. If you study well you can clear exam in single attempt.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 31000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is fixed if you are in the open category, for reservations also there are exemptions for payments. The college will allow for part payments if you don't have full fee money for payment at the time of admission. The fee was around 31000 for my course.

Campus Life

In the month of Feb of every year annual gatherings and tech fiesta are conducted. Different student welfare programs are also coducted. Campus have big playgrounds for volleyball, cricket, football and different type of games. All Indian festivals are celebrated. Library is very spacious and have huge collection of reference books.

Admission

MH CET score was considered for admission. The staff was very friendly and they provided all information. Application forms can be downloaded online or can be collected offline from the college. The college provides benefits for reservation eligible candidates.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I have applied for D.Y patil Kolhapur and K.K wagh COE nashik after confirming my addmission in GCOE also I have chosen this college over them because of the affordablity of course Yes I do get rejected from other colleges for the lack of my percentile for cap round If your allotted from the cap round you have to go to the collage and do a basic verification and after giving the the required documents and then confirming your seat by paying the academic year fees , and for eligibility for getting into college itd necessary to pass atleast 12th from science branch or atleast complete your deploma of 3years , after passing 12th you have to give the CET exam and full up the for the cap round...Read More
