Remarks

The university provides you with sufficient exposure. This is more than enough to understand the market and job-related queries. A lot of companies come for on-campus placement and if you are capable of clearing all the different tests, then you'll go through. You will be likely to get a good job with a decent package.

Entrance Preview

I had given a Amity Engineering college entrance exam at the time of admission and i passed it with good score. I choose amity over other institutes because this college provides quality education ,academic as well as social knowledge , skills, big opportunities if you are good at something. Amity is for all kind of student and provides a big platform to aspiring minds. Amity has Innovation Idea Incubator cell which helps students to became entrepreneur. There are many events held inside the university which allows student to perform in front of a large audience .

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen this because it opens the diversification of my mind ,it pushes me to take challenges ,it is the field where you can visualize everything ,it brings a change for a person like me who is consistently a hard core introvert (yes ,you will not change completely but a little change is required for this era) and a sensitive person from the beginning , civil engineering is something that makes you feel that you are in the world which will never going to end for sure , it only exceeds and exceeds with new discoveries ,it is one of the discipline of engineering which is a way unique from other ,at each and every instant you will feel ,you have a lot to learn , Sometimes you can't even find time for your hobbies too but still as I am in final year now And I feel the most effective decision I have taken till now was to do civil engineering I am happy with it , and struggles are the part of life but the path chosen by you simply depends on you

Internships Opportunities

Well, being in the NCR region, a lot of companies come for the internship and placements drive here, from Wipro to Microsoft to IBM. Since Wipro is a mass recruiter, the average salary offered by them ranges 10k to 15k for internship and from 2.5 to 3 LPA and around 5 LPA by IBM for placements . Microsoft, on the other hand, gives a package more than 10LPA but its technical exam, GD and PI rounds are extremely tough.

Placement Experience

4.5

Amity provides 100% placements. The placements are good if your academic year has been good. Not only the academic year, if you work well, you will get a well-off placement in India or maybe abroad too. Work well, give your best. Be good in studies. Be in contact with the teachers. Grab every event and opportunity and you are there. Students with good intellectual capacity get placed easily and an average student has to give tons of interviews. The average package is 3.6 LPA with only a few (maybe 2 or 3) managing to 12 or 18 LPA. The competition is too much and those unplaced students are made to wait for 4 more months and somehow 'manage' to get a package of 0.9 to 1.2 LPA.

Faculty

professors have more flexibility that other teachers with not only what they teach, but how they teach, the ambiance of a college course can be really interesting and unexpected sometimes. Thus, classes can be made pretty unique and memorable if paired with the right person to teach it. Unfortunately, we will all have professors that we felt we couldn't work with, didn't understand us, or made us flat out feel like a bad student, but amazing professors can make up for that and remind you how great they really are in our lives. Some traits of amity faculty 1. They treat you as a friend, not just a student 2. Perfect balance of control 3. Take the material to another level 4. Treat everyone equally 5. Have a sense of humor. 6. They don't over-expect; they understand you 7. They stick to their word. 8. They're open to change.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
