Remarks

I chose this college because I was getting a 50% scholarship in this first year but then it came to me that the continuation of the scholarship is really tough. Regarding your admission, your 12th board merit is considered and nearly all students with a percentage above 65 would get admission to the college. My reason for selecting this college was that this is a well-renounced university not just in the local region but globally and uh can get as much good quality of education as you can grasp. The curriculum is really great for meritorious students and college provides every opportunity to all students who are ambitious about their dreams. The things that I didn't like about the college were actually that sports facilities in the university aren't so great and you may face a little too difficult if you are a sports lover. Also, the wifi facility is not good and it gets a real pain when mobile data can't be used and also the wifi doesn't work. I learnt from this site only about college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because BTech is a professional degree and you can get a really good job just after your BTech from such a renowned university and also the standards of this university is really a point to talk about. You may get a good knowledge of your course if you study from here. The faculty for some subjects are really appreciative while some are just fine to do the job. If you talk about programming then the curriculum isn't that great for this but teachers are ready to help you if you are willing to work hard. Almost 1:10 should be the student-faculty ratio and the college has a vast faculty staff. Almost all the professors are PhD holders and have a wide range of knowledge about their specific subjects and the teaching method is just the regular one we have already been used to since school time. For each semester, one minor exam and one major exam are conducted and the difficulty level for these exams is normal if we study all our teachers ask us to then good chance.

Internships Opportunities

4

Yes, I have heard a lot about the internships offered by amity university and from the second year onwards the college provides internship opportunity to their students which all students can opt for. Although I have not taken any internship from college up to now because at this time we are all confined to our houses but we have also received messages from the university regarding online internships and the stipend which we can get regarding this. Post-graduate in Life Sciences/Allied subjects having preliminary knowledge in cell and molecular biology, cell culture as well as stem cell biology. The intern will certainly obtain a support amount of Rs.15,000/- each month which can be utilized for meeting accommodation and also daily essential expenses such as stationery, consumables, food etc. The Internship will certainly be from 1st May to 30th June 2021. So we can see the great opportunities offered by amity university in the field of internship for their students.

Placement Experience

3

From the 3rd year onwards students can opt for campus placements and the terms required is no back should be there and students should maintain a specific CGPA so as to be qualified for the placements. A student can sit in any amount of companies and you can even have 3-4 jobs in your hand when you end up in the placements. The companies visited are Amazon Accenture Tata Samsung and really a lot of more renowned companies. Amity has a good placement cell which works really hard to get a lot of companies into the campus for their students. The highest package as offered is 37 lacs per anum and the average package in the university is 4-5 lacs and this may also vary as per your branch and the course you have opted for. I can say nearly all students can get a job in the university in fact most of the students will end up getting jobs in mass recruiting companies while only the really hard-working students are gonna get jobs of over 10 lacs. I am looking for a good job and want to further continue.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually, I would say BTech from this university is really really expensive as I can tell you the fee structure regarding this. The first year goes for 3.3 lacs fee for the year and in the second year fee gradually keeps increasing to 3.5 lacs, then in the third year the annual fee is 3.8 lacs and in the final year, the fee gets hiked to nearly 4 lacs for the year. As you can figure out this is a really costly university to graduate from but I can say this is worth it if you are willing to work hard and get the beneficiary outcome from this. The scholarship is first awarded on a merit basis as 50% scholarship to 90% above marks in 12th and 100% scholarship to 93% above. However, this is for the first year and the criteria for continuing this scholarship is too unclear and just so difficult to achieve. But if you face some financial issues in your family then the college awards a special scholarship regarding that. Also, sports scholarship is awarded to national and international players.

Campus Life

4.5

First of all, you are going to get the course freshers party and that is quite amazing to be a part of. But the really amazing part is the university freshers party when celebrities come to the college and you can have a really charming time in the college. Also, tech fests are something that college keeps acknowledging at regular intervals of time. The amity youth fest is the best time to enjoy in the college as the fest is really really amazing. The amity library is really big and I can say you can find the best place in the university that is the library. Books meant for every course and also a wide range of reference books and everything is available in the college library. The classrooms are fully air conditioning and really compatible for concentration in studies and quite spacious. Sports event Sangathan is held every year but also the sports participation results in loss of your studies as I have experienced. Clubs for every interest are well set up in the university and are great.

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
