Course Curriculum Overview

There is a wide type of courses available here. The faculty members are very helpful and excellent and always ready to help students. The faculty and the student ratio is proper here the teachers do make sure that every student is attending the class. It has 2 main semester exams and 2 unit exams which are there for practice.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 1990 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee for std 11 is 1990 and for 12 std is 1990 whereas for the course b.com the fees are approximately 6000. This college will help you graduate as well. They usually collaborate with other private institutes for further guidance.

Campus Life

The campus life here is simply amazing. The campus is very big as well as this college has its own auditorium. The SNDT Youth Fest is the main fest here. There are plenty of books in the library. To get access to those books you have to make an access card for the library. All knowledgeable books are available here. There are 4-5 fans in the classroom as well as benches and desks for students. Sports day is celebrated here every day and there are lots of sports activities done here. They also teach sports like basketball, football, badminton, karate and so on.

Admission

The admission process is now offline, when i was applying I applied online mode due to the lockdown. The eligibility criteria are that a student should score at least 50% to get admission to this college. You can apply for the application through online mode also go to the website of the college and applying the application fees will be approximately 100-150 As the admission process was smooth I didn't have any issues with it

I would rate the BBI course curriculum at Lala Lajpat Rai College as fairly relevant and moderately comprehensive. The focus on finance, banking, and insurance subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum gives a good theoretical base and helps in preparing for further studies like MBA, M.Com, or government exams. However, it lacks practical exposure, internships, and industry interaction, which could make it more job-oriented. Teaching methods can also improve by including case studies, field visits, and guest lectures.Exams are held twice a year (semester-wise) and include internals (25 marks) and externals (75 marks). They are moderately difficult manageable with regular studies.

Learning in a fun way

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.

Placement Experience:

Talking about campus placement, overall rating is Excellent. Some IT companies like TATA Consulatancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Sutherland, Eclerx. and banking companies includes ICICI AMC, ICICI Bank Pvt. Ltd., TATA AMC, used to visit college campus to conduct assessment round in college itself. Highest package was around 5 lakh per anum and average package was around 3 lakh per anum. I even got placed in TCS with 4.4 Lakh annual salary. Almost 70% of bachmates was placed with more than average package and there were good opportunity for science background also. After getting degree i worked for 1.5 years and now i'm going to persue my career in management roles.

The insights of fashion in SNDT

i applied to other colleges like SOFT and MIT and got in but i ended up in this instead as my dads friend said it is better or the students from there end up being more "hardworking". I also applied for the DAVV, INDORE AND ILWA COLLEGE,INDORE for the same course. But this college is very nearby to my location and also I was working in their SDPS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL simultaneously so i chose this one. Also,I have heard about the rest two colleges that regular attendance is mandetory and they do not provide degree on time after competion of the course.
