Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I am quite good at coding and other stuff related to it. So, I want to enhance my knowledge in this field. The faculty members for my course were quite good and of friendly nature with students. We had 5 lecturers for five subjects. One lecturer used to handle 60-65 students. The faculty was well qualified in their respective subjects but the teaching method needs some improvement. The exams were conducted every two months nearly and for students like me it was easy to pass or to score good marks based on knowledge wise.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship is compulsory for every student in 2nd year of a degree in our college. The internship are provided by college for students in content writing, and graphic designing in our course or field. For now I have no experience of internship. But in future I am excited for internship to gain some experience. As per my knowledge, many projects are assigned to students to gain some good outcomes and new ideas.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 6th semester in 3rd year of the degree, the students become eligible for campus placement. The project done by students last year is very crucial for their placement. As per my knowledge, 50-60 companies visit the college during campus placement, for example, Infosys, TCS, Jio, etc. The highest package offered in our college is nearly 14 lpa and the average is 2 lpa as per the company profile. This college holds a good percentage of students getting placements which is nearly 70%. After graduation, I will give my 100% to get a good placement in any company with great offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my course is Rs.37400 yearly which is worth it in this college due to its syllabus, faculty, etc. During admission, we were informed by the college to fully pay the fees before the lectures begin. But after some conversation with the admission cell, they were okay with 50% of fees to be paid. The college provides regular scholarships but I never tried them. The main reason for taking admitted to this college was placement. They have good connections with good bunches of company. I am hoping that I will also get a good placement in one of the organizations in the future at this college.

Campus Life

3.5

This college conducts many events and fest annually but the biggest fest the college conduct is namely "Alegria".This fest is conducted annually in the month of February in our college and I have already attended one of it this year. The availability of books in the libraries of the college is quite less. The environment of the library is good but the quality and quantity of books need to be improved. The amenities in classrooms allocated to my courses are average, they remind me of my classes in higher secondary schools. The campus also conducts many extracurricular & sports events for students interested in it or selected for it.

Admission

The admission process was so smoothly carried out. I swiftly applied for documents for my admission to this college and waited for the list to allocate. The eligibility for Bsc.IT course for which I applied was just to have 60 or above marks in Maths subject in HSC board exams. For me, the process was good enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
