Course Curriculum Overview

I was Very much interested in machines and all, so I choose to do a course in Mechanical Engineering. Faculty was so good in 1st year. for the remaining year, it was 50:50 condition some of them were good and some of them are not. There were 3 insem exams in a semester and 1 last university exam at the end of the semester.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Placement Experience

they help many students in campus placements but I was got placed off-campus they guided us very well, and they also provide is a faculty to be prepared for the campus drive. overall was very good regarding placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no hikes in fees For the whole course and I was getting a scholarship from gov call the obc gov Scholarship. It was affordable for me. The college also provides campus placement help . And overall it was quite a good experience.

Campus Life

I had many college fests during my course like, Techelons, Dahihandi, and Navratri, and at Almost every festival something was surprising. we also got the library availability to study. and they were also providing us with books from the library. Also, there were projectors in every classroom.

Admission

I have taken a Common Entrance Test. And I got 70 Marks from 200 in 2018 and got admission to P. R . Pote College Of Engineering And Management. Where I completed my graduation in mechanical engineering. And for eligibility, you should have to score more than 150 marks in the PCM group in your board exam and a good CEt score. I did not get any reservation there, But I got OBC Scholership From government. It is a very good college for engineering. College Also provides placements.

Sem 6 is considered preferable for the college placement many students starts getting placed from that, many companies like wipro, mahindra & mahindra, tcs, capgemini, etc. visits each year to the college each and every students gets atleast a offer to them few also gets more than one like 2 to utmost 3 also,750+ students got offered at the final year of 2023 if we include internship offer than it goes more than 1200, in campus highest package was 12lacs off campus was 62lacs, (85%)+ of the students gets placed each year in the college. After i get degree i would try for college placements and would also focus parallely for the off campus placements too, and ofc wherever i will get the highest placement i would go for it.

Placement Experience:

This college has a very big Alumni network. Because this college is started in 1982. And its highest package is 300000 and its average package is 4.5 lakh. And the graph of placement increases year by year.

Beginning of new journey

The Admission worries were many in the beginning. I wanted to get Admission to Computer Science & Engineering branch only. When I heard about P R Pote Patil College of Engineering & Management, Amravati, I discussed it with my parents and visited the college's website. The application form for admission is available on the college website along with the Fees. The admission schedule is displayed regularly. The eligibility was normal 12 passes with min. 50% and MH-CET entrance non-zero scores. The college follows all regular reservations as per government rules. The admission process is hassle-free with the college. Needy students are supported sometimes by the management. Other branches are also good in the college but as I scored well in the MH CET I took admitted to Computer Science and Engineering Branch.
