Remarks

The college management is not good. Infrastructure is not so good. There are many grounds on which this college can be rejected as par with other colleges in Pune.

Entrance Preview

I gave the entrance exam conducted by this very college. I also gave CLAT but could not manage to get a NLU. I had only left with joining with one of the private colleges. I was supposed to choose better than this one but thought of joining it taking it as the best among all. I had to suffer a lot. The rumors spread about this college are worth it. I suggest you to seriously prepare for entrance conducted on All India. So try your level best to get into a better NLU if not to top three. Attendance is compulsory here. The teaching method is totally puzzling. It will cost you a lot in your marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Like any other college, it has also the same course curriculum. There is a five-year integrated course, Bachelor of Arts+ Bachelor of L.L.B, Bachelor of Business Administration+ Bachelor of L.L.B, and a three year law course consisting of L.L.B. Some people also opt for L.L.M after completing 5-year course.

Internships Opportunities

My college doesn't do anything in providing you for an internship. If you have well-mind to get interned under a good lawyer, then you go ahead with it. Do well in internship because it is what going to help you in minting your experience. Please do take part in moot court competitions conducted by any university. You can not think of yourself as a practicing lawyer without bringing into your exercise.

Placement Experience

1.5

No one gets placement here. This college is poor in terms of placements. As it claims to give placements in some prominent companies including national human rights commission. Ask a student who has spent his five-year. College does not provide anything. All you have to do is to find on you own.

College Events

0.5

The college organizes an event called 'ABHINAY' and youth festivals as gala time. These events are also sure to happen. This is decided by the college. Apart from it, the college conducts moot competitions on state and national level in collaboration with prominent law firms.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible here. The rates can be checked out on the official website of bharati vidyapeeth university, NLC official website. It is also affordable for those who opt for management quota. The fees for management quota is one lakh and generally Rs75,000 for those who come here on merit.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilities are not so good. There is no cleanliness in the college hostel. The food here is so far Ok. The mess food is pathetic according to students. But the location is the best. The college is situated in the heart of the city. There are many PGs and private hostels at a distance of 200-300 m approximately. Students don't face problems in terms of hostels, PGs.

Exam Structure

There is an internal adding to the external exam pattern. The internal marks consist of forty marks and external exams consist of sixty six marks. The minimum marks to score in the internal is 20 and minimum 40 for external. The entire marks for one semester is 100.

Admission

I gave the entrance exam conducted by this college and was named into the merit list. There were three merit lists in which my name was in the second one.The worst thing about this college is that it has its fees justified so that it can attract more and more students. The admission procedure takes place throughout the first semester. No time limits the vacancy left for the non-meritorious students.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty is not so good. They are fair enough in their nature. A new student faces their tantrum. They confuse you a lot. One more thing, choose the course which well suits you. Don't decide in a hurry because it is a question of your career. I chose B.A.L.L.B as I thought it suited me well. The sociology(taught by Mrs. Sakshi Rajput who thinks she is very hard-working) which is taken as a subject especially for exams like IAS is a ridicule here. The political science( taught by Mrs.Isha Khopkar who thinks she is over-smart) will take into you politics and end up into politics. I hope you get my points taking into your deliberation before joining this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.
