Remarks

Here I feel that ,so far academics is concerned it is good, but the management is worst. Everyone wants to just keep ignoring your work and keep sending you from one office to another.

Entrance Preview

Jee mains Score- 93 (general) Cbse board 76 % In 2015 the rank was made on the basis of 40%board +60% mains..and I Didn't get NIT at that rank, so I preferred Galgotias University to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Teachers want the students to do research and make projects but they don't help by giving attendance relaxation or providing the money for the project. You have to show your skill just by getting good marks in exams. Two sessional of 50 marks each which have a weight of 15 each. Which makes a total of 50 marks internal and 50 marks for external end term exam.

Internships Opportunities

College didn't provide the internship till now but we have heard that it will start giving soon. The Stipend is not there for sure but I am not sure if they will demand a fee for that or not.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is done in mostly service-based companies and IT giants like Infosys Wipro, Cognizant etc. Be it for electronics and communications engineering or mechanical engineering or civil engineering or computer science, core company are negligible. The starting annual package is 3.2 lac. Which didn't change from many years.

College Events

3

There are very few events that occur here. Cultural fest G-qasar happens in which few known celebrities come and students participating in large number and enjoy. few small events keep happening during the year and students do all the management and organise it in much good way

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive and compared to the fees to facilities ratio. Because only 3 out of 10 teachers are good enough to teach in an interesting manner and rest just copy paste and screw you for attendance. And also there are lack extracurricular activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college is in up and up government give scholarships to all the domicile of Uttar Pradesh. To avail a loan you need to take it from banks separately. University only wants money by whichever mean you may pay, they won't help, they just screw if you are late in paying money.

Campus Life

3.5

In campus the gender ratio is 60: 40 I guess, unlike other colleges or university. There is a workshop on robotics but no competition in campus. Debates are organised however. There is facility for Sports but seems things are getting better year after year

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel has large room compared to other private hostels nearby and the other good thing about campus hostel is that it is at the campus, which saves your time. Rest all the things are bad as of now. There is no ac in so-called ac rooms. The building is under construction. Mess food is so good that if you regularly take meal you might fall sick.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and friendly. There is no ragging at all. Freshers feel good about that. You can approach anyone for any kind of help. And the overall environment is so far students are concerned.

Exam Structure

There are lots of examinations in a semester of different kinds. There are two quizzes happen of 5 marks each and assignments of 5 marks. Two sessional of 50 marks each which have a weightage of 15 each. Which makes a total of 50 marks internal. And 50 marks for external end term exam.

Admission

I came here directly and applied for admission they checked all my certificates and my JEE score and board percentage and I was in.

Faculty

3

Faculties over here are qualified with degrees but not with real teaching skills.Because only 3 out of 10 teachers are good enough to teach in an interesting manner and rest just copy paste and screw you for attendance. And also there are lack extra-curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a postgraduate course so I took admitted to this course because I want to become a lecturer (Professor). So after doing this I want to pursue a doctorate degree. Teacher student ratio in this course is 1:60 In this college, there are both permanent faculty and guest faculty. Permanent faculty has better teaching skills than the guest faculty because the majority of them are students who pursue doctorate degrees under the guidance of this college's Professors. They generally lack experience. The teaching method is excellent for permanent faculty. Exams are held timely. One is held in the month of December and the other in May. There are four semesters in this course. The paper level is difficult. One needs a descriptive knowledge of the subject to score good marks in examinations. Previous year papers can provide a lot of help.
