Course Curriculum Overview
The college conducts three internal test in a semester for 20 marks in each subject including assignments. The average of two best internal marks is sent to the university. Assignments are very important. If you have a question why assignments are important then I am telling you it contains 5 marks for each subject which will be added your final result and another thing.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides internships. Since I am new in college ( now I am in 2nd year) so I can't able to say anything about this.
Placement Experience
Whatever I know the placement is good. Around twenty companies come every year and offer the job. According to your talent, you will get the job. If your personality, communication skill is good then you will definitely get a job. Some students get more than 10 lacs per annum.
College Events
When the first sem will start, after few days they conduct an event freshers day for 1st sem students. And same for final year students while leaving the college as a farewell. Our college celebrates Ganpati puja, Durga puja and some technical programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the local students who had taken admission through CET is low and they are getting the scholarship from the government. But the students who had taken admission through management is very expensive. But as compared to other colleges its little good. You have to clear all the fee before the even semi-final examination if u are not able to pay they may create some problems like they won't give hall-ticket if you had paid at least 70% of the fee then they can think about you.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my knowledge, the Karnataka's students get the scholarship definitely but other students may get a scholarship from the college if the student's performance is very good in university.
Hostel Facilities
In this college, there is two types of the hostel are available. One is known as national boys hostel and other is known as international boys hostel. You can stay in any hostel but you have to pay the proper hostel fee. In national boys hostel 3 to 4 boys live together but in international boys hostel 1 or 2 boys live together. The mess is common for both the hostel. There is only one separate hostel available for girls.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, senior students are very helpful. They behave like your big brother/sister. The College has a very good library you can get books from there. Seniors will help you in the study and any other work.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is excellent. Mainly the SEA College of engineering and technology comes under VTU. VTU is one of the best university in Bangalore. The exam will conduct by VTU. As you asked about examination gaps- definitely you will get a leave for three days to one 5 days after each examination. In a lab, you may get leave or sometimes not.
Admission
I had taken admission in this college through management. I had cleared some examination in north India but I didn't want to take admission in the north side. I wanted to take admission in Bangalore only then I told my parents about this. After that, he searched so many colleges in Bangalore. Finally, I had taken admission in this college. I knew about VTU before I came to this college.
Faculty
Faculties are highly qualified and there is a lot of assistant professor. If you didn't understand some topics in class, they will give you extra time.some times if you are absent in laboratory in the free period they will teach you how to do that experiment.
