Life At KEC

I had chosen this course as from my intermediate class I had a very keen interest in computer science and web development. All the faculty in the college are with much experience in teaching with degrees in Btech, Mtech and PhD. Before semester exams two Class-Test and one Pre-university exam are conducted to ensure good performance of students in university exams.

From the seventh semester onwards students are eligible for placements. Reputed Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Nagaro offers placement opportunity to students. About 90 per cent of students get placed in companies from previous batches.

Course fees are 97000 approx every year. Various scholarship programs are initiated for girl students and all economically weak students. Also various reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Nagaro etc placement drives are conducted in college.

Campus life is magnificent at college. Annual fests for dance, singing, poetry and drama are organized every year. Sports fest is organized every year with games like cricket, football, kho-kho, badminton, chess, kabaddi etc with much enthusiasm. The library of college contains uncountable books of fiction, non-fiction, research papers and study materials. Various Clubs are formed for every form of talent like singing clubs, dance clubs, poetry clubs etc.

There are two hostels one for boys and one for girls. Every room is either shared between roommates or singly allotted according to the demand of the student. The hostel contains a badminton court, table tennis court, gym facility, and LCD tv in the common room. meals provided in the hostel are not so good but fine quality, served 4 times in a day . The registration procedure for the hostel consists of a form signed and approved by the hostel dean and warden.

I got admission through the UPTU exam as I got a 2786 all india rank in the exam. The Computer Science branch was allowed to me via online counselling. I had to then come physically to college with my parents to do all paperwork required for admission. It didn't take much time. Also, fee waiver seats are also available for economically weaker class students.
