Remarks
Overall if you want to do engineering from RTU and you don't get admission into top 3 colleges of Jaipur then JNIT is a nice option.
Entrance Preview
I took RPET scored 32 marks.this college is not on my wishlist but I don't have any option so coincidently I become part of JNIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, every engineering college in Jaipur having the almost same curriculum as JNIT have.there is nothing much to learn in engineering colleges like JNIT .just study a night honestly and you will clear semester easily. even if you study for an entire semester, at the end of the day you will be having same grades with almost no knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
No, my college won't provide any internship.but they are having some internship partners according to branch so the students can get an internship from there, there is no stipend, even they take money to provide the internship.i have done my internship form MERC Jaipur in PLC and SCADA technology which is of no use.
Placement Experience
no placement at all. only BPO and tech support kind of companies come to campus for placement drive which gives a package of less than 1 lac per annum.over all student need to get placement from off campus drives or from other colleges drives.some time the companies select you from campus placement, but they never give you a joining letter.
College Events
Fresher-->Every year there is a fresher party organized by the college which is a good time to interact with seniors n all. verve--->my college's annual function name is verve.ehich is also a fun part .every year they call a celebrity in my time it was Badshah and rafter. sapandan-->its an inter-college level sports competition which held just before verve.it's really nice thing about JNIT. instead of that there is no technical function
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid 27500 per semester which is feasible according to engineering college structure. the fees will remain same for each semester through out the engineering .for examination fees of RTU we need to pay 750 rupees extra for each semester.other fees which are not part of tuition fees are college dress fees n all which are one-time pay only. overall it's feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
no scholarship offered by the college but RTU provide NEFT sheets where the student needs to pay only 10% of tuition fees.other govt. schemes which having nothing to do with college.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in (2011-2015) is 75/500. which getting decreased year by year the campus life is awesome. the college having a great infrastructure and play ground with grass. my hostel is on campus only so I used to stay in college for 24 hours and it was really nice to have that experience. I learnt a lot of things from my engineering life which helps me in future.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are really nice. it cost me around 6000 a month which is affordable as per my understanding in Jaipur area.hostel having only two sharing rooms with separate beds, Almira, and tables.the internet is a proxy but having good speed.mess food is quite good it depends on the mess owner .every year they get the contract renewed with a new mess.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are friendly especially the hostellers, they know the things which we are going to face after a year or so, they helped me a lot through out engineering.
Exam Structure
there are 2 mid terms which are organised by the college. having 5 question and we need to solve only 4.easy process, though most of the time students have an idea which questions are coming .practicle exams are just for namesake. most of the equipment is in none working conditions so they gives marks according to practical file
Admission
there is no rocket science in getting admission in any of RTU affiliated engineering college. they take direct admissions, though few students get admitted from RPET. some other ways are AIEEE at that time(now JEE).in 2011 there is some struggle for getting mechanical branch but after that, the seats remain empty.
Faculty
Some faculties are good and having knowledge too.and some are so dumb that they even don't complete their engineering in 4 years.every faculty in JNIT in just looking forward to completing their 5 units and then let it go.there are also some faculty who are honest towards their duty, they teach with the same potential through out the semester.
