- The college has the best law faculty. The teachers have really good knowledge of various laws and are always there to help the students no matter how many times they want to get their doubts cleared.
- The college uses different teaching methods to make the sessions interesting for the students. They also conduct internal exams and give assignments and give a detailed feedback on how to do better after evaluation.
- The college keeps organising visits to different courts, lok adalats, mediation centres, jails, police stations etc to give exposure to the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have always had an interest in the field of law and I wanted to know more about my rights as well. Also, you never stop learning as there are so many laws to study, and so much new information to gather. Hence I decided to opt for this course. The average class size is 150 and as there are 5 different papers each semester, there is one faculty for each paper. The faculty is well qualified, friendly, and has good theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The teaching method is through lectures, slides, movies, online meets, guest lectures, etc. The semester exams are conducted by CCS University and to prepare the students for that, the students have to give 2 internal exams and assignments which help a lot in scoring good marks in the external exams.
Internships Opportunities
The college has listed various law firms on their website and they keep sending students for internships during their final semester. They also encourage the students to intern under other advocates during their semester break.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee for LL.B is 38000, excluding the exam form fee which has to be paid to the University before the exams. The students also have the option to pay the fee in installments. Scholarships can be requested by the state government if the student is eligible and scores good marks in the exams.
Campus Life
The college fest is Nav Utkarsh and it is held in April. The college also organizes events on other occasions like Constitution Day, Republic Day, etc. The Library has a lot of books on different topics, journals, and records like SCC, and AIR. The college also has its journal. A student can get 2 books issued under his name at one time. The classrooms have proper seating capacity for all students, smart board, mic, and CCTV camera. The college also organized sports events, seminars, debates, etc. from time to time.
Admission
You need to be a graduate for getting admission to LL.B. I directly contacted the college for my admission and was provided the admissions form after visiting the college. It was followed by an interview with the Law faculty. Application fees are rupees 2000, and a notification is released by the college whenever the admissions are open.
