Remarks

College management was nice as compared to any other college of India for master's we used to get our scholarship regularly on time. To organize any event we used to get good cooperation from them.

Entrance Preview

Chose this course because of big institute as I had option of ece in many other institutes. Bengal Institute of Technology and Management has good placement records and provide best facilities.

Internships Opportunities

Every year our students collect used clothing and donate those to The Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. There is a special cell under the guidance and mentorship of the HODs that looks after the holistic development of the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any of them but I know about them. There was one merit cum means scholarship which is for limited students on the basis of their parents yearly income. You have to score a minimum of 6/10 CGPA to continue the scholarship every semester.

Campus Life

life on campus life was nice which have huge number of options. But due to hectic schedule of studies usually kept me away from extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very good and i suppose many of them are holding very good top management position in various companies in Alumni meet many of them visited the campus regularly.

Faculty of BITM is nice and cooperative if you are studious, when you are naughty they also become naughty and strict. Overall can say they were helpful to an extend.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Nearly or almost 100% students get placed from IIT KGP, irrespective of their branch. This is the beauty about it. Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.

I took addmission to this college by the means of WBJEE exam. It would be more better and economical to visit the college itself and talk about addmission and course fees, the general fee for B.tech CSE in the year 2021 was 2,50,000.
