Review KIET : a glance at life

I choose B.Tech Information technology as I have a deep interest in computer science concepts and coding. The faculty-to-student ratio is 4:60 which is awesome. Every student is assigned a mentor for personal and academic problems. Every teacher is at least postgraduate and almost have done Ph.D. in various fields. Exams are done on time according to the university schedule. Faculties are awesome in teaching methods.

Different companies like rjwada, and Infosys offer internships for SDE roles. Different projects are made which have many societal benefits. Sleep awake system, cancer detection system, vehicle tracking system, etc.

The highest package offered was 48 lpa by Amazon last year and the average package offered was 6.8 lpa by cognizant. 100 % placement is done in technical branches and above 90% placement in core branches. I plan to proceed with higher studies after the degree.

The fee structure is not very high. For the first year, it is 136000 and for later years it is about 119000. Many scholarships are given as Pradhan Mantri shiksha yojana, UP scholarship, and many other scholarships for Covid hit families too. Placement is 100% for technical branches and above 90% for core branches.

Annual fest- epoque and prastuti conducted in March. Tech fest - Innotech conducted in November. Sports fest - Run and spardha conducted in December. A lot of books are available in the central library for various fields. Many sports are played across the campus Many clubs run inside the campus for different technical and professional domains. Every club has a separate website. ERP club runs a website that displays crucial information about a student.

A bed matrices a wardrobe a table and a chair is provided to every hosteller. There are three, two and single seater rooms available in boys hostel and girls hostel. The hostel meal is very good and tasty. Registration for a hostel is done during the college admission process only.

I went through the admission process of my college by giving jee mains entrance examination and fill the application form for Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University and application form fee was 2000 which was later deducted from the annual fee. I didn't know about the reservation benefits as I didn't avail it being a general. Proper counseling was done and perfect College was given to every student according to JEE percentile. No improvement is needed in the admission process.
