Remarks

Board of student welfare for cultural society. Individual hostel level events. Institute level events for best hostel representative. No issue of race religion and sexual orientation, very healthy competitive environment. Most of the students from economically good families.

Entrance Preview

I have appeared for JEE Mains entrance test and my score was quite good. I choose Bengal Institute of Technology and Management (BITM) because this is the best place for me.

Placement Experience

There is excellent placement opportunities. A lot of MNCs with average annual package of 5 lakhs visited our campus. There were 40 students in our department and approximately all were placed with the companies of their choice. Despite being a time of recession, companies enthusiastically turned up. Even some PSUs like Coal India, NTPC etc visited our campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very nominal. Various scholarships are offered too for meritorious students.The college has got SBI bank inside the campus that offers easy education loans to students.

Campus Life

We at BITM aspire to establish a system of quality education which would on a continuous basis evaluate and monitor the quality of education and training imparted at the Institute, improved teaching learning process and ultimately develop the Institute as a Center of excellence.

Hostel Facilities

Entire hostel was managed by representatives of students only. There was a house secretary to take care of the facilities inside the hostel. Apart from this there were Mess Secretary, Sports secretary etc.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are off the charts, with 367 offers being made to 361 students in the recent edition. The student can seat for internshps offered by diffent companies that visit th campus in their pre-final year, while they are eligible to seat for the placements in their final year only. Apart from this there also other restrictions for seating in the placements like Cg should be above 8.5 and there should not have been any disciplinary charges against you, etc. The companies visiting the college also have their own preferences for selecting the students. In 2024-25 the highest CTC is nearly 2.5 crores p.a. offered to a student of CS branch. The EC department getting the most number of offers i.e. 73.

I took addmission to this college by the means of WBJEE exam. It would be more better and economical to visit the college itself and talk about addmission and course fees, the general fee for B.tech CSE in the year 2021 was 2,50,000.
