Rollercoaster of experience

the cse course has the best record for placements so i chose it. the faculty to student ratio is roughly 1;40, most of the senior faculty are phds in their respective fields, while some have masters. the faculties are qualified enough to be teaching , the teaching methods depends on teacher to teacher, while most of the faculty follow orthodox methods of teaching or rather cramming the concepts, some are more interactive. term exams are conducted every 5-6 months and if u put decent efforts u can easily get good grades.

From the knowledge I have since the past few years the placement records of CSE branch have been good. But still majority of the students are recruited by mass recruiters , companies visiting are tcs, Wipro ,Infosys ,titan ,Paytm and others. No big company like Google Microsoft Amazon visit our campus. Our avg package can be held at around 9-10 lpa.

our college is one of the most affordable engineering college out there, tuition fees for 4 years is nearly 4.2 lacs, and many scholarships are also provided to the students who need it, up post matric scholarship being the most common.

fests are conducted in the college but as the students dont get much support from the faculty or staff they are not as good as of any other colleges, coming to library the volume of books are large in the library , u can get books regarding any course in it and we also have a e-library. classrooms are very basically equipped with white boards , smart boards and chalkboards. we have various clubs in the college both sports and cultural , the seniors are really spportive and encouraging in all the clubs.

So we have year wise hostels, in the first year we have 4 seater rooms , in second year we get 3 seater , then 2 and single seater in final year. The hostel and mess fees are 14500 and 36000 respectively. The quality of the meal is decent , somedays can be bad you might have to order food. But otherwise the food is bearable.we have various pgs around the locality of our college so many students opt for that too

my admission in aktu was on the basis of my rank in jee mains, the cutoff for my course btech(cse) was 43k for general students. application form and details were present at the site of upsee which handles the counselling for the aktu affiliated colleges. no reservation was availed by me.
