Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it is very unique and it has a lot of opportunities for government jobs. For agriculture, there is a 1:6, faculty-to-student ratio. Everyone has done their Ph.D. and some of them are gold medalists in their college. Some teachers teach through the PPT and some by dictating notes. The course is very vast and lengthy, exams happen twice in one semester i.e. mid-sem and end-sem. But it is very easy to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Our seniors are the first batch of this course and we are the second batch this course is very new in this university and no one has passed out from this university this course yet that's why no internships have been offered.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the BSc agriculture course is 120000 per year excluding the hostel, the year you take admission to check its fees on the university's official website and you have to pay that fee for four years even if the fees increase it will be the same for you. The scholarship is mainly given to the sc/st students or if your parent's annual income is less than 2.5lakhs.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is celegance and it happens in March last and there is also another fest named roshni and it happens in sept-october. There is a very big library of 2 floors with many books of every course. Some classroom have ac and projectors and some doesn't but there is plenty of seating space and laboratories are fully equipped. Every year there is an annual sports meet at the university in which many games are played and for those who want to stay in a hostel, there is the HPL-Hostel premier league i.e. only for hostel students. There is not many clubs in bsc agriculture course, but there is literature, drama, and sports club.
Admission
You should complete your 12th in science with a minimum of 50% marks in 12th. There is an entrance exam conducted by the university, you can fill out the application form on their official website. I took admission in management quota and I gave 30000 as a donation i.e. extra from the college fees. I think there shouldn't be any donation charges.
