Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose Bachelor of Commerce course because along with bcom, I planned to enroll myself for the company secretary executive module 1 June 2023 examination. Student ratio is good faculty are really experienced, learned professors with good qualifications and practice can be found in my college. Teaching method is informal and interactive some of the professors have completed their masters' degree and some are currently pursuing for PhD. In their repective area of interest. The first term and second term examinations have a gap so that students can be prepared for the exam but timely revision tests are conducted at our college and the passing ratio of the students is nuetral.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

One insurance company which was also related to Jio fiber net came to our college and the college offered internship programs for the same, students have also been selected for the same and a WhatsApp group for the information to get circulated properly among the students is also formed. Students can ask queries related to the internship programs to the respective coordinators and coordinators and all the professors are helpful in the same matter.

Placement Experience

3

My plan after getting the degree is to pursue law in the same college because I would have completed my bachelor of commerce and company secretary professional course approximately till the end of my third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees are affordable and the cost to study is also affordable. I received no scholarships. Job opportunities like internship programs for insurance companies and classes, VFX editing, etc. were conducted at my college.

Campus Life

4.5

The cultural festival was conducted a few months ago which was named carpe diem, Annual functions are also conducted mainly at the end of the year. Availability of all the required books can be found in the college library. Proper ventilation facilities in the classroom are provided. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted at the college campus students are also selected for district-level or state-level in sports.

Admission

The minimum percentage requirement for eligibility for the course is 40% in the HSC Maharashtra board examination. I found the application form from the college office. I did not require any reservation benefits so I didn't ask for the same. The admission process is good and according to me, there is no requirement for any improvement.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
