Entrance Preview

The interested student has to pass the class 10 and class 10+2 examination with atleast 45% marks to be able to apply in the college. The student can be from any discipline/stream and they need to get very good marks and rank in the CET entrance examination of the college so that the college would offer them a seat.

Placement Experience

The placement team wanted a practical management training program that will help them to prepare the students to work effectively and efficiently in all types of organizations whether they are small or large. The students will get chance to be a part of mock interviews as well to learn to avoid their weaknesses and use it as strength.

Campus Life

The college is full of students coming from different cultures and background. The gender ratio in the college is very good 60:40. The college is very strict about ragging and expels the students found practicing it. The other facilities offered are for fitness of the students like Gymming and sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are up-to-date and students are kept in neat and cleaned secured hostel campuses. The whole campus area is being installed with the security cameras and security guards for the safety of the students. Food is available at any point of hour and is always prepared fresh and very tasty.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students loved to discuss case studies with us and give us different view points of the cases. These discussions were full of information as well as fun and would give us a chance to look at the problem from various different angles. This would help us reach the optimum solution of the problem in hand.

Placement Experience:

in my course there is 3 year course which include 6semesters and in 5th semester the college placements will be started. i visited in times of india , reliance ltd, iclivia . the highest package is of 84.88lpa and the average package is 4 to 5lpa. the total percentage of students who are getting placements are 30 to 35% students. i want to do masters in managements also and after that i was ready to work in a multinational company.

From 5th semester onwards we were allowed to sit fir placements. Nestkeys , godrej were some of thr companies that visited for placement and i got offer from all of them. The packages were ranging from 2 lpa to 5 lpa to be precise excluding the fake ctc and all. Around 60% got the placement in my batch but were not satisfied with the package. Placement Experience:

DBS is ranked 4th for the placements all over north India. More than 120 companies participated in the placement week. Around 90% of the students of my batch got placed in their dream companies. The top recruiters who participated in the week were Amazon, Paytm, Asian Paints, Dabur, upgrade, Dabur, Godrej. Highest CTC offered was Rs.6 LPA. Doon Business School, Dehradun is ranked 27 as per India Today's recent ranking this factor caught my attention while I was searching for good B.B.A colleges. I visited the official website of the college and click on the Admission tab. Then I filled the application form and created a log-in password. After logging-in, I filled all the required details and paid the application fee of 1,000 through credit card. I was also asked to submit my 12th marksheet scoring 75%. After getting a call from the college, I was selected on the basis of group discussion and personal interview.

Remarks:

Overall it's good the campus is awesome 1 thing i want to say for hostel. improve the outing system they only provide 2 hours outing and 3 hours. That's not enough as our college is far from the main city otherwise its good.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list.
