Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose Computer Science because Computer Science Engineering is a field of study that combines computer science and engineering principles to design, develop, and analyze computer systems and software applications. It is a dynamic and rapidly evolving field that offers a range of exciting career opportunities in areas such as software development. My class consists of 120 students and 25 faculties for the overall department. All teacher staff members are highly qualified some of them are pursuing their Ph.D. too. The examination system at ADCET is rigorous yet fair. The papers are set by the teachers themselves, which ensures that the questions are relevant and cover important topics. The exams are conducted in a timely and efficient manner, with results being declared within a week of the examination. This enables students to plan their studies and prepare for the next set of exams in a structured and efficient manner. The exams at ADCET are considered easy.

Internships Opportunities

3

As the internship is mandatory in the 8th Semester so I got an internship in Business Quants as Data Analysis Interns where I worked on different datasets getting some particular insights that may help them to take some decisions. The overall Internship opportunity is good. Currently working on different projects that I can't disclose but they help me to gain real-life experience with industry standards.

Placement Experience

2

From semester 7th only all students are eligible for the campus. In terms of placement this year 2023, due to the recession very few companies visited our college including KPIT, Capgemini, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. The count taken by these companies was also too low around 25-30 students per company only TCS has 80+ students. If I talk about the overall placement count this year only 150 students means 1/4th of the overall college was only placed for an average package of 4.5LPA System Engineer or GET role and most students are from Computer Science only. So overall placement rate is not good this year. The recession has impacted a lot on placement rates this year. I also got placed in TCS but I expect more other companies should visit our campus as last year many companies visited our college and every student has 2+ offer letters in hand.

Fees and Financial Aid

For any engineering, the course fee is around 1,10,000 Per year along with that Maharashtra government provides different scholarships according to their cast like OBS, SC & NT so that they can help those students with their education fees. I am from the General seat but I have also one Scholarship called EBC Economical Backward Class as my parent's Income is less than 8LPA. With this EBC my fees become 50K per year this scholarship help many financially weak students. Campus Life

4

The college has well-designed buildings with spacious classrooms that are equipped with modern teaching aids such as projectors, audio-visual aids, and smart boards. The college has well-equipped laboratories and workshops for students to conduct practical experiments and hands-on learning in various fields such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer science, and civil engineering. The college has a well-stocked library with a large collection of books, journals, and online resources to support research and learning. College has a computer center with modern computing facilities and internet connectivity to support learning and research. Sports Facilities: The college has a sports complex with facilities for indoor and outdoor sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and chess. The college conducts many different events like SPARK and Sports GC too.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In terms of Hostels College provides separate hostels for boys and girls with comfortable accommodations and mess facilities. Fees are around 20K or 25K per year depending upon the old and new hostel. Food Quality is good no issue but the campus is pure Veg only. If you want non-veg you need to go out of campus for food. Hostel rooms are cleaned weekly and consist of 3 chairs and tables along with a fan and Generator. The food quality of the mess is also good value for money. The hostel is also near to the college only so there is no issue of any security and easy to walk distance to the college. Mostly there is a water supply issue in the hostels.

Admission

Eligibility is 12th Pass with 55% Above and CET Scorecard with Passing marks. Yes, we can take admission to any engineering college through the entrance exam called CET or JEE. I secured 85% in CET at that time and the cut-off for this college is around 80% for Computer Science so I got selected for admission into the college. The applications for admissions are available on the CET CELL website only after the declaration of results. All this procedure is handled by only Maharashtra Government. The overall admission process is good and fast.
