Remarks

Food quality needs improvements. Compared to other colleges this college is very good, Our food is little bit inferior. The food is having local state influence, which never happened in other colleges. It should be taken care.

Entrance Preview

I had passed the JEE mains Exam and had all India Rank of 982. I had taken admission in B.Tech course. I choose this college because this college has great faculty members.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the students were selected in Coal India Ltd. Some of were selected in Vedanta. Some were in Volvo India. Some in JCB. The salary during training ranged from Rs 35,000 p.m. to 55,000 p.m. Some were selected in software industries with a package of 6 Lakhs p.a. to 9 Lakhs p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Compared to the other colleges of India, we are paying the college fees at about 80 % cheaper. Lots of funds are available for the students and professors for the proper utilization. We students can go abroad with institute funding, if selected.

Campus Life

JIET is at the Delhi - Jaipur National Highway. The campus houses an academic block, a library with numerous quality books, journals and magazines to enhance the knowledge of the students, student activity zones, seminar halls/auditorium, student hostels, sports facilities, refreshment area, departmental store & Wi-Fi campus.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Placement Experience:

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

If you look by placements numbers you will find this good but if you look by placement ratio then it's crucial I would say because only in first year hey have 8000 new admissions and last year they had 2000 placements
