IILM University is the best

The courses offered at IILM vary from BTech, MBA, BBA, and LLB to journalism and many other. The curriculum have been designed as such to give students a very brief knowledge on every topic. All the classes are conducted regularly and trust me the faculty of IILM University is the best thing on campus. All the faculty members are very educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders. They are all very helpful and always ready to help you get through topics. Exams are conducted 4 times in a year, 2 end-semester exams and 2 mid-term exams. The syllabus of exams is in accordance with AKTU and the exam pattern is also the same as that. Though students starting their classes from 2022-23 are having university-based exam patterns.

Internship opportunities given by University are amazing. A lot of companies come to offer different certification-based courses and internships from time to time. Recently NASSCOM came to our campus offering a wide range of certification-based courses. These courses then led to stipend-based internships. Other than this, there are also many other opportunities given by the University to all the students in terms of regular workshops & seminars.

Students become eligible for campus placements from their last year of course as that is the time when companies visit campus. A lot of good companies like Wipro, and Infosys visit campus and they offer good packages too. The average package goes around 8-9L per year. This year the highest package was 18L which I believe is really good. Around 70-80% of students get placed every year with a decent package. Overall if a student has performed well throughout her/his course then sHe will definitely get a good placement opportunity with a good package.

The fee structure of IILM University is moderate I would say. BTech CSE have 1.5L fee per year structure and BTech IBM have 2L fee per year structure. This also includes the 30k program fee which is for certifications, books, events etc. Fee structure of hostel is also fine as compared to other colleges. IILM University offers both 3-sharing and non-sharing hostel facilities. Non-sharing hostel's fees per year are 85k while the 3-sharing hostel's fees per year are 60k. Other than this there is the monthly payment option for mees which is 4200/month. Every student is given a scholarship on tuition fees based on their 12th-class scores. Students scoring above 85% get 20% of scholarships and students scoring above 90% Get 60% of scholarships. A lot of stipend-based internships are also given to students which can help them develop financial independence. Faculty members of the admission team are always very helpful and ready to help you with all kind of issues.

Campus Life of IILM University is really good. Good thing is that IILM is not overcrowded. It have kept it's student intake limited and refined. This helps students develop a very friendly and cooperative environment. The crowd is very diverse with students coming from Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu. All kind of diversity is accepted and appreciated on campus. There is nothing like ragging here at all. Ignite is our annual fest and it is celebrated like a festival. It is conducted every year in March. There are 2 big libraries on campus filled with a lot of books. All the classrooms are very well equipped with excellent infrastructure. There is a lot of scopes for students to have sports spirit. There are 2 badminton courts, 1 football court, 1 basketball court, 1 volleyball court, 1 handball court, a big ground to play cricket, etc. Other than this a lot of social groups are available at University, like a debate club, coding club, mechatronics club, sports club, etc.

The admission process was very smooth. It was in accordance with the AKTU admission process. After obtaining my 12th scores I applied for the application process and soon I had my acceptance letter for my desired course of B.Tech. when I took admitted IILM was a college under AKTU but now it has become a university. The application form can be found on IILM'S official website. As soon as you fill out the application form you'll receive an official letter from the university regarding further processes if your application fulfills the eligibility criteria. There is a 10% relaxation in tuition fees for every girl applying at IILM. Also, as per your 12th marks, you are given a different set of benefits in terms of scholarships.
