My Target is UPSC so that's why I have selected B.A (history ). There are 2 professors for every subject. Professors have done Phd in there respective fields their teaching is quite simple and easily understandable as commerce students in intermediate have easily adapted there teaching. Term exams are conducted every 2 months it is easy to score good marks if we are attentive in class

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 17500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees quite resemble for students. I think there is no hike in the fee structure as it got semester-wise to you have to pay 50% in 1semester and another 50% in the next semester and no additional fees for examinations are required. One can apply for a scholarship base on their category (ST, SC, OCB) and State because students from other states also come here for studies

Campus Life

There are fresh parties in October as we welcome new students and there is an auditorium, football group, cricket group, indoor game like table tennis, carrom board, chess, etc. Even there are cycles provided by the university for studies inside the campus. There are WhatsApp groups for respective subjects for interactions with other students

Hostel Facilities

The quality of the room is excellent University provides a mattress, pillow, study table, chair and almaara for clothes and other items. Food quality is much better than outside very clean and neat they will change the combination of food after 15 days so that students will not get bored of eating only one type of food

Hostel Fee: INR 19800 per year

Admission

The admission process was quite simple first we have to register ourselves on the university website portal and the registration fess was Rs.800. Admission opens from Mid-April onwards. There are no reservations in the university. one must get a copy of the registration with the 12th and 10th marks sheet attached and visit the campus for verification by the head of the respective department as the course selected

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very useful for me in civil services examination because Optional subject remains important in Upsc examination and if u are already pursuing a degree in a subject which will be your optional in civil services examination then it will be great choice of yours . curriculum prepares me so well. Recently teachers werw changed due to their poor performances in class. This improvement was done. Now exams frequency and timings wero also fine and there was not difficultly level at all

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interest in psychology that's why I adapt this course. got to know so many things about psychology and which help me to know people better really help me in my day today life. But the professor need to explain more and do not give illusionary examples. Did they have to try to explain in real world scenario. The courses is difficult and the paper is so lengthy give three hours to write and the people is so many that the time is insufficient they need to give more time if they expect to fill 24 pages of answer sheet.

Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
