IILM University is the best college in Delhi-NCR

I was always interested in doing engineering and IILM University in Greater Noida appeared to be the best place for me. Engineering is amazing and how the whole course has been designed is also excellent. The faculty of IILM is the best thing on campus. All the professors are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The faculty-student ratio is also well-managed and proper. Almost 98% of the faculty is a Ph.D. holder. They all hold great knowledge in their respective subjects. In free periods you can even go to sit in any other class and trust me the professors will always be welcoming. The timetable schedule for the whole semester is designed in advance very properly and then all the classes are conducted by that. Two sets of exams happen in a semester. First, there is a mid-term exam and then there is end term exam. Overall exams are conducted four times a year. Overall the curriculum is very good and supportive.

Internships play a very important role in any student's life and trust me IILM University is coming up with great internship opportunities. The university conducts seminars and workshops from time to time that involve the presence of great tech people. People from different companies and backgrounds are invited to interact with the students. They discuss the perspectives of their company and encourage the students to take up courses and certifications being provided by them. Later based on those certifications they offer different roles and internship opportunities. Projects like work in Artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, mechatronics, etc. are given to the students. Also, internship opportunities are stipend based so that increases the interest of students. Overall internship and placements curriculum is good at the campus. A lot of opportunities are given to grow your skills and develop yourself.

IILM University in greater Noida offers good placement opportunities. A lot of good companies like Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus. During the last semester of the final year, students become eligible for campus placements as that is the time when companies visit. The average package offered to students is around 8-9L per annum and the highest package offered is 18L. Almost 89-90% of students get placement every year with a decent package.

The fee structure of IILM University is decent. For B.Tech in CSE, the tuition fee is 1.5L per year and for B.Tech in CSE with IBM, it is 2L per year. Other than this there are two types of hostel facilities available on campus, non-sharing and three-sharing rooms. The non-sharing rooms hostel costs 85k/year and the three sharing rooms hostel costs 60k/ year. Both hostels are decent and well maintained. Scholarship opportunities are also very good at IILM. Based on your academic performance you are given different scholarships. If you score above 85% in the 12th then you can avail 20% scholarship on your tuition fees, if you score above 90% in your 12th then you can avail of around 60% scholarship on your tuition fees. Also as per your every year performance in college exams, you are given different scholarships. There is a lot of financial assistance on campus. The faculty and admission department are always ready to help you. Campus placements are also very good. A lot of companies visit the campus.

Campus Life at IILM is just amazing. The students are really good here. Things like gender or caste discrimination are nowhere around. Ragging is also not a thing here. Everyone is always very cooperative and supportive of each other. Every year an annual fest called Ignite is organized on campus. Students from all over India visit the campus at that time. It is conducted in March during the last week. The fest involves all types of activities like dancing, singing, sports, innovation ideas presentation, etc. Other than this a lot of activities happen on campus every week which is very informative and engaging. IILM consists of 2 big libraries. Both libraries are occupied with several books and journals. Classrooms are also very large and equipped with excellent infrastructure. There are 2 badminton courts, 2 volleyball courts, 1 handball court, a basketball court and a big ground for cricket, etc. is given. A very good gym is also there. A lot of social groups are there.

Hostel facilities at IILM are excellent. There are 2 types of hostels here. One is non-sharing and the other is 3-sharing. Both are wonderful. Cleanliness is maintained very well at both the hostels. A bed, a mattress, a wooden table, a wooden chair, a wooden drawer, and a big wooden wardrobe is provided in the room. There is also AC in all the rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with well maintained and functioning taps, basins, showers and cupboards. A lot of open areas is also given in hostels. Mess food is very good and comes with a variety of meals. Hygiene and cleanliness are the topmost priority of IILM and it is very well maintained in the mess. IILM just made its grand new mess which is no doubt just wonderful. Registration for the hostel is done at the time of admission and for financial aid, students are given the chance to submit their hostel fee in two breaks, i.e. per semester. The locality around campus is very good and a lot of other universities are also there.

The admission process is quite smooth. IILM has become an affiliated University now so the application forms for admission are filled directly on IILM'S portal unlike before when it was done through AKTU's counseling. Based on your 12th percentile and entrance exam results you are provided scholarships. Also if you are a girl then you get a fixed scholarship of 10% on your tuition fees which is a very good thing. If you have above 85% in 12th then you can avail 20% scholarship on your tuition fees. I took JEE MAINS exam and scored a decent percentile above 80. Regarding eligibility for the B.Tech course, you must be 12th qualified with a decent score. You should have studied PCM/PCB/PCMB in your 12th.
