Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I had a passion for this course since my childhood. Coming to faculty of this college, are good at teaching but the faculty: the student ratio is quite LOW. They don't pay attention to every student. But the faculty members are highly qualified and they prepare PPTs to teach a lesson for making the students understand easier. They even show it practically to make it understandable. They conduct term exams every 2-3 months and which are quite difficult to pass. Only a few students get to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

During the internship, we are paid a stipend of 20k- 25k. We have to do our duties in the allotted departments. Night duties are also allotted sometimes. We have to do our duties in ACSR government hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid my fee during my admission into the college. I paid the hostel fee, college fee, mess fee, caution deposit, and establishment fee. During the admission, a total amount of 35k is required while for the next 4 years, 20k is required as yearly fees. Neither didn't apply for any scholarship nor did I get any stipend as I am still studying in my 3rd year.

Campus Life

5

We have college fest, freshers day, convocation fest, and hostelers day celebrated in July, November, and April, respectively. Our college has a library where we have the availability of different kinds of books related to the course. Classrooms have good seating systems with ACs and with a projector for e-learning. Our college conducts sports and games in sports week. Sports like volleyball, cricket, running races, basketball, table tennis are played.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our hostel rooms are so good provided with fans, lights, cupboards, and beds. the food is not so good but the menu has different varieties of food items. But they don't include any healthy food items like cooked vegetables. They only serve fried recipes mostly which I consider a con. Registration into the hostel is done on the day of admission. Yearly a fee of 12k is issued for staying in a hostel.

Admission

I appeared for the NEET-2020 exam. NTA released an application online and there is where I applied for. NTA released all the application forms, exam dates, and the fees required to appear for the exam. The eligibility for the exam is one should pass their 12th class. The reservation was useful for getting the seat. And after getting the seat, I went to the allotted college to join. I submitted all my documents required for admission like Aadhar, 10th class certificate,12th class certificate, Study Conduct certificates, passport size photos, caste certificate, etc. The cut-off was around 560 marks for OC that year. Myself, I didn't face any problems during my admission. Everything went easy and well.

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
