I always wanted to do garment design and for that NIFT is the bet option in India i went through national level entrance exam conducted by national institute of fashion technology in this my all India rank was 721 there are 2 phases of this exam first is written and drawing test, in written they ask for general questions from maths, English etc and in drawing they different situation and candidate have to draw with details in second phase known as situation test, they give some situation and candidate have to make 3d model with the help of given material only selected candidate from first phase are called for situation test.

Most of the subjects are practical bases and only 1 2 subjects theory per semester lots of creative thinking and hard work are required, all the faculties are highly qualified and experienced and from top design colleges like NID, MIT, NIFT etc.

In internship we have to work in design firm it may be under some famous fashion designer or any fashion export houses or any brand export house, general stipend is minimum 10000 plus traveling charges.

Almost all fashion brand and companies come to nift in campus placemnts for examples Adidas, trident, Arvind, Bombay dyeing and lot more and last year highest package was 9 laks.

Main event of college is spectrum which happens in every even semester, and second event is national fashion olympiad which happens in every odd semester, converge is the event each year held by different nift center and all nift center participated in that.

About 65000 keep increasing as pr demand, in secon semester they take only tution fee, but there so many others expences occur while studing in stationary and all, student have to bring their own ffabrics and tools for every subjects.

College is collaborated with union bank which gives loan to nift student at cheaper rate then other banks, there are several subsidy plans and scholarship from nift and textile ministry of india.

College life is full of extra curricular activities, very good sports ground, basket ball and lawn tennis court, cricket net for practice all labs are air conditioned, lots of fashion shows parties, dj nights for every occasins.

No boys hostel in nift hyderabd but girl hostel is good and spacious with wifi, 24x7 electricity backup food is good ant canteen has lots of options north and south indian food.

College conduct alumni meets every year in which all the alumina are called to meets student, some are called to takes classes and share their experiences.

All the piratical subjects are examined through jury in jury a panel of 3 faculty one from same department one from other department and third from external sit and evaluate the work student have to show their design process with proper theme and document
