NIFT Entrance Exam, My Rank Was 306, I didn't get NIFT Got NIFT Chennai, Fashion Communication, but I always wanted to study in NIFT Mumbai, I applied for it after my first year by Student Permanent Transfer and I joined NIFT Mumbai FC in second year

It's really nice, practical knowledge is more focused, rather than theory. One should focus, practice and make your project more live and interesting and feasible thats the Moto of NIFT student. The best thing is very less written exam and more jury in which you do a certain project and they mark you based on your creativity and understanding.

Yes, we all get Internship and with good stipend between Rs. 10000 to Rs.15000. All the big fashion house, design hose export house film industry we get exposure in all the industry where fashion requires

Almost everyone placed with a package between Rs. 300000 to RS.1200000 per annum All the big fashion house, design hose export house film industry we get exposure in all the industry where fashion requires . Mostly export house offer more get them placed on Bangladesh and the other design house offer less.this year Raymond's took many student at a package of RS.500000 per annum

NIFT spectrum is the cultural festival it is the biggest cultural festival in navi mumbai, in which everyone shows their talent over there also we have dj night in which nucleya has also performed and all big dj perform every year Sunburn also come NIFT converge is the sports festival.in which all the other campus meet for sports competition.

Fee structure is for per semester. It is of two types likes NON NRI and NRI, NON NRI is around 1 lakh per semester and for NRI is 5 lakh per semester. So it's a bit expensive but it's quite cheaper than some other fashion school in the country fashion education is quite expensive in the other country also.

Mostly Scheduled caste and scheduled tribe scholarship is there also there are many other private scholarships for the general students and physically handicapped students. Also loans are easily available by Union Bank of India.

Campus life is friendly and the gender ratio is 80-20, 80 for girls and 20 for boys, also the labs are really nice and the extra curricular activities are a must in NIFT in every Wednesday we have one period for extra curricular,college election happened for the cultural, sports and environment secratory and president. Also we have a dramatics society in which students perform play in different college and events.

Hostel is really nice and even the food are nice. There are separate hostel for boys and girls. Boys live inside campus and girls have a separate hostel which is walkable distance from the college hostel is also somewhat expensive hostel is double sharing and is 1lakh per year including AC and food. Also there are few AC seats and also if you want to live in a flat it's also 4to 5 thousand per month for double sharing flat in a pre occupied flat.

Alumni network is really connected the seniors help to get us job and internship also we have a Facebook group called job portal for niftians in which all niftians are connected and if there is any vacancy they post it and the one in need apply there.

The best thing is very less written exam and more jury in which you do a certain project and they mark you based on your creativity and understanding. Days are not hectic but nights are students often do their project in the night before the last day of the submission. That leaves then hectic.

There are two types of paper in the entrance exam 1.Creative ability test in which they asked us to draw and sketch giving different situation, imagination and story. 2. General Ability Test consists of reasoning, fashion related questions, general awareness, maths, English etc. After qualifying this we were asked to come for Situation Test, in which we were asked to make different 3D models with the given material.

The faculties are nice and helpful they always try to teach us in a more practical way than the traditional way, the relationship of teacher and student is somewhat different in NIFT here a teacher is like a friend l, who knows you, your ability your disability and work on you to conquer your disability and gives you confidence and wings to fly and conquer this universe.
