Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as a B.Com course was the possible fees and in a reputable government college. The student-faculty ratio was 150:1 in a class. Faculty were either professionals or Ph.D. Exams were timely and they were easy to pass.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are there but very limited generally students go for higher education from there. Still, 5-10 companies came for placements having average packages for 2.5-3.5 Lakhs per Annum. Placement opportunities are not so good there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were very less it was like 1000-1500 per semester. Girls' fees were 50% reduced. I did not sit for the placements \in the college as I want to go for higher studies but the average package those got placed were 2.5 Lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

Student council is made in college on a merit basis. They organize an annual fest that runs for 3-4 days. Apart from it, there is HLCC MUN Team which organizes Model United Nations in the college as a big event. Apart from it, there were HLCC RHA Clubs, NCC Team, NSS Team, Eco-buddy club, etc. during my tenure at college.

Admission

H.L college has Minimum percentage criteria for the 12th class during my time so it was 83-84%. The application form was filled out using the Gujarat university website so it has some nominal fees. In the list, you have to choose HL College of Commerce.

Placement Experience:

4/5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. In placement, they get many companies like all the insurance companies. He gets a placement with an insurance company in which they need around 10 students. Out of all the companies, the highest package he was given was 180000 for the whole year. I want to start a business after college.

The placement system for the masters course is good comparatively to other colleges of state.. And the bachelor courses the college are provide the company info.and also provide the campus placement.but it can't provide guarantee for all the students ..but in overall the placement system are good.

Remarks:

As per my experience these college is very feasible for the middle class student and they provide very good education at low price. Which is positive remarks. Negative remarks can be of infrastructure.
