Course Curriculum Overview

My diploma in engineering was in electronics so I chose this course. The faculty is very good at teaching and helping nature in solving doubts. Exams were every semester and practical exams also. Exams are always difficult. Should prepare nicely.

Placement Experience

At the start of the 6th sem campus placement gets started in July. Dates are given to companies who are coming to interview students. Amdocs and Infosys used to give a very good package to computer engineering students. More than 75 % of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike is not much. The scholarship is there, but I don't remember the name, need to enquire at the office desk. Many good companies came for campus recruitment. I got recruited by Wipro technologies ltd. My first stipend was 12000 per month. And signed a bond for 15 months.

Campus Life

Many many tech fests are conducted here. Life is full of excitement at SNDT. Games, cultural activities, tech fests, dance workshops, etc. Yes, we had our magazine and club- don't remember the name. IEEE club membership is also available.

Admission

Eligibility of course was 10+2 or a diploma in engineering. I had done my diploma in electronics. So got admission in the second year directly. All forms, fees, and details brochure available in SNDT University, Santacruz west Mumbai office. The office staff is very helpful to solve your queries a is great. No improvement is required.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
