Entrance Preview

To get admission in ECE, its not easy. The students need to undergo a lot of processes to be able to score a seat. The students are given a lot of options to select and start the admission procedure. Minimum requirement is to have 50% marks in class 12th and must have studied physics and maths in class 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course ECE (Electrical and computer engineering) teaches all about the theory concepts of engineering related to electrical and computer components and how to apply them practically. They help the students to understand the market and the industry through a lot of guest lectures and industrial visits.

Internships Opportunities

Internship option is given to the students after the 2nd year. Interested students contact the placement cell and they organize an event where some companies are invited to hire some students for internship purpose. However, if the number of students applied are less then the college writes a recommendation letter and student can visit the office of the company and can get selected.

Placement Experience

All the students need to fulfill certain criteria before being able to sit in the placement time. The student must have a minimum 75% of attendance overall or atleast in the current semester. Students will be disqualified if at any point they don't follow the instructions that were laid down to them during the training time.

All the events are enjoyed and managed with a lot of spirits like placement and internship events, cultural events, technical events etc. All the students have the liberty to invite their parents and family and friends to some events so that they can see the arrangements and can enjoy with their kids.

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
