Average GEM, FORE review

I choose an International business because it is the way forward, where the boundaries between nations are reduced. Here, our course provides dual specialization where we can do specialization in two fields. The faculty-student ratio is good, with an estimate of 1:10. Teaching methods differ from teacher to teacher. But one thing common is their case-based approach.

There are many reputed companies, sector-based companies, and startups that visit campus for internships. The highest stipend offered (as per my knowledge) was 75k per month. There is no information about the average stipend.

Placement is provided by the college, where the average runs around 13 lakhs. This figure may vary a bit. There are many reputed companies that visit for placement for different roles. The highest package received was 23 lakhs and the company was McKenzie.

The total average fee for 2 years is around 17 lacks, where the fee is to be submitted in 4 parts. The fee does rise year by year, roughly by 30k to 50k. But this is justified by the placement record. There are scholarships available need-based and merit-based.

Campus life is good, we have a lot of seminars, functions, and competitions. We have an annual fest called GENESIS (held in November). We have 20+ clubs and committees and every one is unique and has different functions. One good thing about FORE school of management is it is a very much student-driven college where events are organized by students which helps a lot to understand working and managing people.

My admission process was slow, though GD and PI were conducted in march. The result was late and it lead to mme focusing on other colleges. I was on the waitlist for admission and at end of April, my college was converted and I took admitted to the FORE School of Management.
