Course Curriculum Overview

As we all know computer is the future, and nowadays the placement is also high in the CS department, so I have opted for this course. The faculty of my department is very supportive and highly qualified. Their teaching techniques are very impressive.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 119000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I completed my internship at YBI company in Noida and got 3000 rupees as a stipend, there were other options like Samsung in Noida too. I have chosen YBI because of my core branch in CSE. There I learned a lot about Machine learning.

Placement Experience

I choose the KIET group of institutions due to the placement point of view, here is the 100% placement, and the highest package in my department is 44 lakhs and the average package is 10 lakhs. My dream company Infosys also visit the college, and other companies like Wipro, Samsung, and Microsoft visited our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee I paid at the admission was Rs-119000 for tuition fees, Rs-10000 security amount, and Rs-7000 for book-bank and other charges. I got 12000 rupees for being the topper of my class, which I think is in the KIET only.

Campus Life

There will be an EPOQUE fest going to be held on the 2, 3, and 4th of March 2023. Recently I have also participated in the infotech event organized by our college, where different colleges and schools also get participate. There are all kinds of books available in the library and journals too. There are several indoor and outdoor sports events. There are a number of clubs are there in the college.

Admission

The admission process is very simple, you can directly visit the college for admission if you have secured good grades in the 12th class. If you don't have good grades you can give an entrance exam named UPTU and go through the counseling process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
