Amazing college but average college life

I opted for this course because I was keen on becoming a Computer Software Engineer. The course curriculum is according to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The faculty members are hardworking and cooperative. There are around 3 sections in CS branch with the strength of 70 students. Besides every student has a mentor assigned.

College doesn't provide much internship opportunities. But the students got offer from Microsoft, Atlassian, Adobe, American EXpress, etc. for various roles like SDE, Product Intern, etc. The stipend is good.

6th semester students become eligible for on campus placements. Companies like Adobe, Josh, Infosys, TCS, etc visit our campus. For the batch of 2023, 100% placement was achieved and average package was 8lpa and highest was 44lpa by amazon.

The fees structure is simple. They take approx. 130000 per year and hostel fees is around 92000. The college provides various scholarships. There is a scholarship named College Special Scholarship for those students whose parents are not alive. The placement is good too. There are companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, etc. as mass recruiters. Besides students get placed in companies like Adobe, Amazon, Atlassian, etc.

Epoque is the annual fest. It is conduced mainly in the month of march and the duration is for 3 days. There is a Central Library which is opened upto 8 p.m. and a Central Study Hall as well. There are a variety of books available. The classrooms are large enough to accommodate a good amount of students. There is also an inter-college sports fest named Runn which occurs annually. Besides, there is an inter-department sports fest named Spardha as well. A variety of sports like volleyball, cricket, football, etc. are played. There are around 20 clubs related to technical and non-technical fields.

There are 3 girls hostels and each hostel has their own study hall and gym. Besides there are various activities organized for girls like Garba Night, New Year Party, Farewell, etc. There are lifts as well. The hostel food is above average.

I took the UPTU exams for the year 2020. (Now all the colleges take admissions on the basis of JEE Mains Result) Then after the result announced, I was able to get eligible for the counselling. Later on I gave KIET a priority and got selected. 85% seats are now given on the basis of JEE and the remaining are for Management Quota.
