Course Curriculum Overview
After my BBA I always wanted to opt for MBA. My keen interest in management bought me here so basically PGDM was one of the best options I landed which basically gives a realistic view of how the organization works. I saw my career in this line so I opted for this course. There are around 150 faculty for around 360 students so the ratio would be 5:12 The faculties are well experienced and from prestigious colleges and the teaching, pedagogy is also good. There are several guest faculties that attend and lecture us from time to time There is a trimester system that happens around every 2 months. Not too difficult if one focuses in class.
Internships Opportunities
Fewer companies come for internships with good profiles and stipends like cvent, KPMG, bata, etc Interviews, Aptitude round, GD, and good resumes are basically to clear the internships.* Students are also provided with an opportunity to do live projects be it offline or online during their course curriculum.
Placement Experience
After the internship, a student becomes eligible for campus placements which is basically after the 4th trimester Companies like Bata India, Mazars, Make My Trip, etc, visited and made around 7-8 offers each. The highest package was around 22 lakh and the average was around 8 lakh and profiles were of different domains be it risk analyst, analyst, or sales. 100 per cent of the students got placed during this year To land in a nice profile. No such long plans
Fees and Financial Aid
I feel the fee structure is high which is 12 lakhs for PGDM core and specifically don't know about the fee hike policy but our previous batch had a fee of around 10 lakhs so there was an increment of 2 lakhs. They gave Basant Kumar Birla Admission Merit scholarship of 2 lakhs to the candidates who scored more than 85 percentile in cat exam, right now I am in the current batch but talking about the current year placement there is an average salary offered to be 8 lakhs, don't know about the financial assistance.
Campus Life
We had our major fest which is VIHAAN during November, Refections was also held in November*. Books and journals are available in decent quantities for students to read Well Tech-maintained classrooms, with proper cooling and heating facilities, round table discussion-like environment There are also various sports events that are ongoing during the college and various events organized by the clubs and conduits There are various clubs and conduits run in the college like cultural conduit, food conduit..etc
Hostel Facilities
* AC facilities in summer, heating in winter, single accommodations as well as double provided, proper amenities like desk, chairs, almirah, table provided in the room * Meal quality is good and the menu is diverse and nice * Registration of the hostel also happens during the time of the payment of fees and the total of hostel and mess fees cost around 4 lakhs which is more which I feel * It is mandatory to stay in the hostel
Admission
50% per cent above in graduation and a cat score above 70 percentile I went to their website and there was a link that took me to the application form, the application form was around 2000 rupees and the application was open for about 1 month so basically, they were reopening around every exam be it cat, cmat, xat. I got here through the cat percentile so there is no information The process was smooth but I think the charges of the application form need to be less.
Interview Experience
* There was a PI round that was related to general topics, current affairs, and past work experience we had. During my time PI was conducted online as per looking at the corona guidelines. * Application was shortlisted and time and venue were given for the PI round if selected offer letter was given. A time was given under which all documents need to be verified and fees submitted to book your seat in the institute. * Got an idea from quora, watched news daily and book reading basically
Other Applied Colleges
Great Lakes Institute of Management - [GLIM] | Post Graduate Diploma in Management [PGDM]
I was already enrolled in Bimtech by the time I got offer from Glim so I didnt opt for it.
