My Honest review on VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology

I chose this course as I have a deep interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and from childhood, I have had a lot of interest in Computers in Technology. so this interest drove me to take this course. The Faculty: student is 1:20 which is pretty good. Every faculty in this college is holding a Ph.D. degree from Prestigious University in India like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and others. All the faculty members have a very good understanding of the syllabus and the entire course structure so they teach very well. You will have 2 mid-exams and then your End Semester exam. for all the exams there is no need for rigorous preparation as we did at the time of JEE or any other entrance exam at the time of class 12, listening to classes properly and making notes of what you've learned in the class, and revising all of those will help and lot and are enough to excel in exams.

Many companies like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Goldman Sachs, and many more companies offer internships for students and a few companies offer stipends also. Internship Roles may be like Research Analyst, Associate, etc.

Our college has one of the best placements in the state with an average package of 6-7 LPA and the highest package of 97 LPA (Abroad offer) and the highest Domestic package is around 40+ LPA. students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year onwards. Many top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Walmart, etc visit our college to recruit students. the placement percentage of CSE and allied branches is 100% and for all other branches 98%-99% (Mostly all get placed) Many students also opt for higher studies without taking a placement and that also can be a great choice if you want to pursue higher studies.

I am not much aware of the fee hike policy but for us, there is a fee hike of Rs. 4000/- this year. Previously the fee used to be Rs. 131000/- per year, and now the new fee is Rs.135000/-. There are many scholarships available in our college like Merit Based ones. If a student scores a rank below 10k in TS EAMCET then he/she will be refunded the full fee. There are very good placements in our college, in fact, I'd say that our college placements record is one of the best in our state. the average package lies around 6-7 LPA which is pretty decent and the highest package is 97 LPA. many internships are also offered to students from the 3rd year itself and few companies offer a good stipend too.

The Campus life in this college is awesome. You'll enjoy the moments spent here ans cherish them forever and make memories for life. There are 2 major fests in our college which are organized every academic year. The Annual technical fest is Called CONVERGENCE and the Annual Cultural Fest is called SCINTILLASHUNZ. There is a huge library in our college which is mostly enough for all the students here. all the types of book (Academic books and Non-Academic books also like Journals, Encyclopedias etc) are available in the library. The classrooms here are also pretty well. they are neatly maintained and whole campus has Wi-Fi. When it comes to sports, our college has that too and almost every sport can be played at our college. Many Intra College competitions and Inter College Competitions are held here and prizes are given to winners. There are many clubs in our college like STENTORIAN (English Literature Club), LIVEWIRE (Dance Club), CRESCENDO (Singing Club), Turing Hut (Coding)

There is a hostel for both boys and girls separately. the room options are 1 sharing and 2 sharing with common washrooms. every room is provided with a LAN connection so if a student wishes to use the Wi-Fi then he/she may get a router and use the Wi-Fi. The food quality and taste are okayish. not so good as well as not so bad as every hostel do have in general. the menu is also good, we get non-veg twice a week. rest all items are also in the way that the student is getting the proper diet and proper Nutrition. Registration for the hostel is simple, you just need to contact the hostel or admissions department and fill out a form and pay the fee. the hostel fee is 120000/- rupees per year.

To join this college you need to write an exam called TS EAMCET and the cutoff for CSE lies between 2k-3k, you can also join this college through JEE Mains percentile (B-Category). if you score a percentile of around 95 percentile in jee mains then you can easily get core CS-AIML and sometimes core CSE too.
