Entrance Preview

I feel lucky to be able to get admission in the college. I got admission on the merit basis. I secured 91 percent in science stream in school level at ICSE and the college was very much looking forward to offer me a seat in the college. They even asked me to apply for the scholarship programme.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a lot of scholarship programmes to the students who have got admission in the college on merit basis. This shows that they have performed exceptionally well in their boards and possess the knowledge about their respective courses. Though I wasn't able to secure a full fees waiver offer but was able to waive off 33 percent in my tuition fees of the course.

Campus Life

The college has a very good infrastructure and provides a lot of different kinds of labs and its access to all the students. Labs like science lab, maths lab, computers lab, research lab, communications lab, networking lab, projects lab, electronic circuit labs, DSP lab, microprocessor lab etc.

Exam Structure

The examination structure of the college is not good. Exams are very tough. The college keeps the pattern of the examination same every year which eliminates the process of students working hard for examination. Usually, the questions in the examination gets hard year by year but the pattern remains the same. Students are not being challenged to work hard.

Faculty

The faculty of the college does a very hard work in preparing all the students for the industry standards. They give students an appropriate amount of assignments and practicals so that they do not feel burden at a time and can focus on improving themselves in other areas too. Students are given free time to improve their skills.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.

Life in sri eshwar

I applied through TNEA process and i was not planning at first to join this college. I prefered Rajalakshmi institute of technology, Sri krishna engineering and so on. I filled the choice list on the basis of my preference with sri eshwar on top because i thought i cant opt for better one later. This course which i selected was my 6th choice , so i didnt opt for upward movement and immediately joined here. I prefered rajalakshmi because it is in chennai and the placements are comparitively good. Same for sri krishna. The admission process is simple, we need be selected either by TNEA or management catogery , submit our original documents and pay the fees including transport or hostel fees. Review of college

THis college was been choosed on seeing the you tube channel . The person personally increased the weight of the college. My mom choose this by his influence. He said about the placements. Further many people joined in the basis of same my thought. As coimbatire is located near to my hometown , this is another reason. THis college is located at the end of coimbatore on reaching to pollachi. THis is literally one of the most disappointing. It hardly taks o long to reach. Nice college With good placements

In my POV I preferred studies and the placements which are quite good in this college comparing others. Also, the average salary is above the other college's average package.
